About this sitter
John and I are in our 50s and retired from the police 10 years ago. Since then we have lived in Malta and France, having renovated houses in both countries.
We have 2 dogs. Suzie is a black labrador, a retired service dog and Georgie is a 2 year old Jack Russell. I have a diploma in Dog Training therefore rest assured both are well behaved.
- We are non smokers
- We speak French and English
- We have Irish passports therefore not restricted by Brexit rules
- We don't charge for house sitting.
- Some house sitters ask sitters to pay for heating/utilities. As we have always been frugal with house owners' heating, water and other utilities we do not accept sits in these circumstances.

John is a keen gardener and qualified plumber. He can fix most problems around the house. I am a good organiser and house keeper, making sure everything runs as it should and keeping everything clean, tidy and organised.

Totally reliable and a lovely couple.
Jen and John looked after our house in Marbella during the sale process, they kept the house in immaculate order and organised viewings with agents etc. We're actually a bit reluctant to give them the 5 star review they deserve in case they get so popular we won't be able to get them back but, in truth, they were amazing. When we returned the house was clean, tidy and even all the glass in the house had been cleaned... which in our goldfish-bowl house is a huge deal! They had left us shortbread, drinkies and a card to welcome us back which was lovely. Heartily recommended!

Great Couple that were hard working and did a fantastic job
Jen and her husband John looked after my house in France for 6 months. A lot of sorting out was needed at the beginning of the season which they threw themselves into, and they also managed various workmen and the gardener well as we got everything ship shape following a very quiet few years due to lockdown. They were excellent at communication and kept me informed of all the big issues whilst often dealing with the smaller issues themselves. They were very thorough and also took security very seriously. Although I did not leave my dogs there when I was away, They often looked after my dogs during the day as I went off doing errands etc. My dogs loved them! Highly recommended.

5 star sitters!
Jen and John looked after my property in France from February to August 2017. I met them when I made a brief visit in the Spring, they are a very nice couple who were very willing to do various DIY jobs to the property. They took exceptional care of the house and garden, even clearing out the goldfish pond. They also kept in regular contact to inform me of any news or problems. I would definitely recommend Jen and John as exceptional house sitters.
