About this sitter
I was raised in Hollywood, California. That is where my love of escaping in a good book or movies started. I spent most afternoons and weekends with my head in a book, or in a double feature.
I moved to New York City after graduating from the University of California at Berkeley. I am a freelance artist and graphic designer. I recently left NYC and moved my homebase to Portugal. I am currently living my dream of traveling the world while I earn my living through work online.
What I am looking for in a house sit:
I am flexible, schedule wise, though ideally I would like a mid to long term situation. Possibly 2 weeks to 3 months. Since I lived in New York City for 20+ years, I prefer an apartment or small house in or near a city center. As far as animals go, I love them all, and I specialize in difficult animals, so I have no restrictions there.
I work remotely therefore if your pet needs special attention and/or someone who is home a lot, I can easily do my work from your home.
Why they want to house sit
This allows me to spend time with my favorite companions, animals! I love all animals, though for obvious reasons am unable to have pets of my own. This site allows me to be the favorite auntie to your beloved pet friends, paying extra attention while you are away.

I have many years of experience sitting for cats and dogs of all varieties. I have experience with untrained and trained dogs of all sizes. I also have experience caring for reptiles, fish, birds, domestic rodents and ferrets.
I am extremely responsible, reliable and have excellent references. I am happy to provide a resume as well as my personal and professional references.

What can they bring to the assignment
My favorite place is curled up on the couch, reading, while surrounded by all my animal friends. I am an excellent companion, to both humans and animals. I am extremely reliable, trustworthy, and highly organized. I will be attentive to your animals, and keep your home clean and well cared for like it were my own.
I am a non-smoker, a vegetarian, and I don't drink or do drugs.

Highly recommended house and pet sitter
Phoebe took care of my two dogs and one cat for one week in February 2019. She was very mindful, reliable and completely trustworthy, sending updates on a regular bases,. Excellent cat and house sitter
Phoebe stayed in our house to look after our lovely ginger tom cat, George, on 2 occasions ( about 14 weeks in all), this year. She was the ideal cat and house sitter: George adored her, and particularly enjoyed sitting on her knee as often as possible. Phoebe could work form home so she was in the house a lot of the time. She kept the house clean and tidy, and dealt efficiently with any issues which arose, keeping us informed at all times. She enjoyed meeting all our neighbours, and consulted them if she need to. She was completely reliable and trustworthy, keeping good records of any expenditure, for cat food etc. She tended the house plants and watered our plants in pots in the garden, making sure that the plants did not dry out in the unusually hot summer. We were extremely happy with her, and would certainly welcome her back to cat sit for us again.
