About this sitter
We are a couple in our early 60s, still fit. We have lived in The same area of Alicante for the last 30 years and are very established, after relocating from Colchester essex. We have always had pets, we had a small holding near Colchester,so are able to look after most pets. After we lost our much loved French Bulldog a year ago, we vowed No more pets, but we still yearn for the love only animals can offer. We do not smoke and are clean living and respectful of other peoples homes.
Why they want to house sit
Mainly to share , on a short term pets , to see different parts of Europe and discover different lifestyles
We have lived and worked in the same area of Alicante for 30 years and are very well known. We co own `Quesada Minigolf`look it up on Facebook.
Their experience
As far as Pet sitting, Yes, we have often looked after friends pets while they returned to the UK. When we lived in the UK we had dogs, chickens, goats, geese, ducks, We have been members of home swap for 3 years and have have just returned from Amsterdam taking care of the owners cat and recieved a good reviews as guests. We are currently taking care of a cat for a friend of ours who lives nearby

WE can take care of and offer kindness to your pets, look after with the greatest of respect your house and garden. We can keep you updated with texts, photos and video calls. Able and experienced pool cleaner. good gardening knoledge

Fantastic sitters
Lisa and her husband Rick looked after our cats and plants for a week in August. They were very communicative, sending me daily videos and pictures of the cats and letting me know if they were being friendly or naughty that day. They kept the house perfectly clean, and they were very respectful and friendly. We highly recommend them for any sitting assignments. When we got back we discovered they had gifted us two fantastic printed pictures of our cats, a new plant and a cake. It was a pleasure meeting them both.

Sweetness, honesty and a good share of experience in what's life, what else?
We contact Lisa and Richard through mindmyhouse for a house sit in Christmas and one minute after we were amiable chatting on the telephone. Unfortunately we could not match our respective interests for that period, but we agreed to keep in touch. Later on March came by a new opportunity and finally all we could meet. We had the opportunity of sharing a few hours lounging with booze and bites and Kike and I enjoyed to the most. They are sensible people willing to joining meaningful conversations, sharing knowledge and experiences... For our kitties, Kaleo and Rufus, it was also superevident that they could count on Lisa and Richard's cuddles for the next few days. Extremely sweet and honest people, savy housitters and superfamiliar to pets. They are a british couple established in Alicante for long, so for us they have the best of both worlds, no need to explain practicalities about living in Valencia and super committement to the welbeing of our cats. We are just waiting for the next ocasion to meet, and Kaleo and Rufus told us so... too. We couldn't encourage more to other house owners and pet parents to put their babies in their hands.

Housesit for us in Murcia
Lis and Rick are a nice couple very friendly and easy to get on with and willing to make sure everything runs smoothly. They were excellent with our 7 cats especially Jasmine who had had chemo on her face and needed to stay in out of the sun but allowed out supervised. I think she gave them the runaround but couldn't go that far with her protective cone on. But they managed to keep her in check All the cats were happy y content when we came back. The house was nice and clean and our plants were watered and looked good. They come highly recommended. We would definitely use them again. Xx

Rick and Lisa arrived two days early just so our dogs could get to know them. Just saying that tells you that they are excellent pet / House Sitters who will go the extra mile to keep your pets happy. Our dogs, a happy loves everyone Staffordshire Bull terrier age 4 and a grumpy suspicious Shar pei cross age 14 both loved them. Rick and Lisa looked after our dogs as individuals, one is much more energetic than the other and both dogs were happy and well,when we returned. The house was tidy and clean and they even organised a couple of domestic appointments that we could not attend to. They are fluent English and Spanish speakers. I cannot recomend them highly enough.
