About this sitter
I am an older (71) retired lady who has been doing volunteer work and seasonal jobs since retiring. I discovered house/pet sitting and find that I love it. I love serving the owners while they are away and I love taking care of some amazing animals.
Why they want to house sit
It keeps me moving and doing instead of just sitting around hoping for something better to come along.
Their experience
Yes, I started out doing housesits in Utah and Idaho and then did 3 housesits in Henderson, Nevada. On to New Mexico where I did 4 housesits.
I have done 2 housesits in California, 2 in Oregon and 1 in Washington.

What can they bring to the assignment
A person who really enjoys taking care of animals and making it possible for the pet owners to relax and enjoy their vacation. I love making that happen. The animals/home is my first priority. I love to explore and see new trails and cities but the animals/home is always my first concern. If the animals are happy, then I am happy!

Best sitter
Mary tended our 13 year old, mostly blind, dog with such love and devotion that I think our dog misses her! But, honestly, Mary was a wonderful dog/housesitter. She communicated regularly, sending pictures and notes about how our dog was doing. She took great care of our home, leaving it neat and clean. She was also very accommodating of our travel schedule. If you're lucky enough to get Mary to dog or house sit for you, you won't be disappointed. We highly recommend her!

First time and very pleased
We have never used this service before, but at the end of our trip are very happy with how things turned out and how well Mary cared for our home and pet. She kept the house tidy and clean. Responded to our emails when checking in. I have to say… she is SUPER ‘low maintenance’. Didn’t request a car for use. Seemed to enjoy walking around our town for food and supplies. We gave her a good ‘tip’. Really don’t know how this could have gone any better. We would have Mary back and certainly recommend her.

Mary just house sat for us for 1 month and it was a great experience! She clearly loves animals and took perfect care of our cats. We'd welcome Mary back with open arms!
Having a stranger in your home while gone for an extended trip can be a little unsettling. Mary quickly showed us that we had nothing to worry about! She came the day before we left so there was time to go over house and cat care. While we were gone she checked in regularly and updated us on the goings on in out neighborhood. Upon our return, we found our house (and cat!) well cared for and better than we left things! Mary obviously cares about making connections with people and the communities in which she stays. I can't recommend her more! If we plan another extended trip, I'll do what I can to get her to return!

Excellent Caretaker!
We had the opportunity to meet Mary and have her care for our home and pet while we were away for a couple of weeks. Mary is a wonderful person and she made a strong connection with our dog, who clearly missed her after she left. We were nervous about leaving our pup behind for that long but Mary kept us up to date and calmed our nerves with frequent emails telling us what the two of them were up to. She also kept our house in tip-top shape, very clean and tidy. We are glad to have met Mary and we highly recommend her!

Mary is an outstanding housesitter...
Mary stayed at my house for about 3 1/2 weeks while I was out traveling. She kept the place in very good shape and it was better organized and very clean when I returned. Although I dion't have any pets, she kept the birds fed. She communicated with me several time to let me know that everything was fine while I was gone. If you have an opportunity to use Mary Morrison as your sitter, I would strongly suggest that you take it.

Great experience with Mary!
Mary did a wonderful job caring for our home, dogs, and Airbnb casita while we were away for 10 days. Our property has lots of little details to be attended to and Mary did a perfect job at following our instructions and communicating with us. We were so happy to have a responsible, reliable sitter taking care of everything, as it can be stressful for us to be away. Our dogs seemed very happy and well taken care of when we returned :) Overall it was a great experience, and I would absolutely recommend Mary as a house/pet sitter!

Great Experience
Mary did a great job watching my once feral cat, Meow Meow! He was relaxed when I got home which means he was well cared for and attended to. Wonderful house and pet sitter!
Mary Morrison has been a wonderful and caring petsitter and housesitter for us! We have used her services three times now, for many weeks each time, and always know that our pets, and our home, will be well cared for while we are away.
