A wonderful comforting experience
Pamela is a very special person. It was quite a challenge with 3 dogs, 10 month golden doodle, 3 yr Havanese and a 17 yr old that cannot see, hear in diapers. She met the challenge with honors. Sending me videos and texts on how my babies were doing. We will be friends forever. She is a bright and caring person, a joy to have in my house.

Perfect Christmas companion for little Enzo!
Pamela was an excellent match for our little dude and home, and kept us up to date with videos and photos of the two of them having fun while the two of us were doing likewise back in Scotland for Christmas. She is an interesting, smart and really easy to get along with person, and the fact that she enjoyed spending time with Enzo as much as we do meant that we could relax over the holiday knowing that he was in kind and capable hands. Pamela's daily schedule also matched brilliantly with Enzo's, as she liked to get up early and, after giving him his morning walk, was out enjoying the city before getting back to walk him again before dinner and chill with him in the evenings. He can be a picky little eater, and Pamela patiently ensured that he got something into his tummy even when acting like he had no interest in doing so. I have no doubt whatsoever that Pamela would be capable of looking after any pet or home, and urge anyone with the chance to select her for your sitting assignments. She is welcome back whenever we require a sitter again.

Sit in Thailand, 1 cat
Pamela house sat my house and my cat for a month in Thailand during October. Although it was rainy during her stay she still made the most of it adventuring around and making herself known amongst the locals in our community. She sent me videos whenever I asked and more of my cat, and was very adaptable even though his behaviour was a little off. She kept me updated nicely and looked after my house well. I came back to a very clean house which is really nice after travelling for a long time. Pamela was very independent and was a great person to have watch our house. I recommend her if you are looking for someone easy going and honest to watch over your home & animals. Thanks, Pamela! Enjoy your travels!

Spectacular
Pamela did an exceptional job overall taking care of our house/cat/fish. She kept the house clean and tidy, was very thorough in keeping us up to date with anything happening in/around the neighborhood, and most importantly, she was great with Fitz/even sent daily photos and videos! More than that, though, she genuinely ingratiated herself in our community--she made friends with the landlord, the neighbors, and the lawn crew. She went on adventures and tried the local foods. She learned some Thai and took advantage of the cultural activities around town. I feel like most people on this site will do a great job of looking after your pets and house--which is what it's all about! However Pamela is someone who will genuinely enjoy the opportunity to help you and your critter out, as well as thoroughly enjoy your neck of the woods. In short, she was awesome to us; and it honestly felt good to know that we were good for her as well. Thanks!

A fantastic month with Pamela!
I could use every positive word in the English language to describe Pamela! She went above and beyond in so many ways during the house sit. We knew our home and yard was always in good hands with her. Every job and task she completed was done thoroughly, with enthusiasm and she always gave an update when finished. She is kind-hearted, easy going, reliable, trustworthy, responsible, hard working, driven, grateful, cheerful, superb at communicating, easy to talk to, and overall a wonderful person! Our house sit assignment was unique in that we did not leave our home to travel, but moved an hour away but continued to run an Airbnb in the home and down the road, which Pamela assisted with. We also offered her extra, paid work which she graciously accepted and did a marvelous job at. With this said, we got to know Pamela quite well over her month long stay as she was open to helping out often and whenever we needed it. We hope all future house sitters are as incredible as she is! And we hope to cross paths with Pamlea again in the future. We would absolutely trust her again for a future house sit, and recommend her to others! She is fabulous!

Wonderful person, excellent pet-sitter, great communicator
Pamela minded our home in New Westminster, BC, from 06-14 August 2022, caring for our cat and dog while we were away in Ontario. Three attributes stand out for us about Pamela: 1. Great communicator - we met on zoom to begin our relationship when she first applied on MindMyHouse, she kept in touch using WhatsApp leaving voice memos to update us on her arrival date, and she offered to keep us updated while we were away (we declined updates, unless there was an emergency). She replies quickly, has a professional set of boundaries, yet is warm and personal in her communication. 2. Wonderful with animals - conscientious, down to earth, attentive. Our dog and cat were in fine form when we returned. 3. All-round good human - she left our apartment very clean (vacuumed, tidy) and we were happy to have her in our condo building. She stayed with our family the night before we left, and we enjoyed dinner together with great conversation. We knew our home was in good hands. Pamela said up front that she would need very precise instructions about watering plants, which we gave her. Thank you, Pamela!

A Good Experience
Pamela was a great housesitter, very responsible. My house was clean and tidy upon my return and my cat was happy and well-cared for. She emailed me from time to time with updates and cat pictures and she phoned the day before my return. I'd have no qualms about recommending Pamela.
