About this sitter

I will be in South of Spain until the 26th of October and I'm looking for something right after that (or not too far ahead) Potentially I am available everywhere, but I should check the prices for flights!

I'm 38 and I'm Italian.
I'm an "on-off" traveller and volunteer: I travel some time of the months, otherwise I work in hospitality.
I don't work remotely, so I can suit my time around animals/pets' needs.
I prefer small villages and places close to nature; not really into touristic places/activities, more interested in local experiences.
I don't drive, so a reasonable walking distance (or cycling distance, if a bike is provided) to grocery stores is necessary (or I can stock up before the sitting begins)

Why they want to house sit

When I travel I need time for myself to organize and think about my travel experience; nowadays I'd say that I need some time off away from people!
but also I don't want to feel too lonely, so taking care of animals it's a perfect match

Their experience

In many places where I've volunteered, especially in private families, I've took care of different farm animals, and pets (cats, dogs, including sleddogs).

Farm animals include very well behaved horses, donkeys, cows (including milking), cheeky goats, fighting roosters

About cats: I absolutely adore cats, you can leave me around with as many cats as you wish! In Montevideo, Uruguay, I've spent a couple of weeks surrounded by something like twenty cats and kittens (it was a "in house" shelter)

I took care also of two dogs at a time (meant, walking around), both in the countryside and cities.

I house sat, for a few days, some cabins for renting in winter in Sweden, and a small hotel in Norway.
I've also been in a cabin with no water and electricity, as well as worked in B&B, hotels and hostels, where I had to clean and keep the place tidy.
I've also some experience in gardening, permaculture and growing vegetables (but it's better if I'm left with proper instructions regarding these)
