About this sitter

I am "Your Pet & House Care Partner!" I approach all sits in the spirit of equal partnership, mutual benefit, shared consideration and appreciation. It’s very important to me that sits are a good mutual match so everyone is comfortable and happy!

I value (and provide) clear, timely communication and respect. I've met some wonderful home owners with a similar style, for many years now.

What I'm looking for:
Length: Generally, sit of 2-4 weeks or longer as exchange of services for accommodation sits (sits of less than 10 days are usually paid at $45/average/night depending on my travel time, number of pets, etc. – just ask and we can discuss)

What I Offer – About Me:
** I owned a home independently for 17 years. I care for yours not as mine, but as YOURS -- as you request and with the extra special care and concern I believe one should give when responsible for other people's pets & property.

** 15+ years house/pet sitting experience and 40+ glowing reviews across 4 sitter platforms (more screen shots can be provided – just ask!)

**Friendly, down to earth, & conscientious, I've been told I put people (and animals) at ease

**I have many repeat pet/housesits over many years, the ultimate compliment

** I love dogs AND cats, and have a good amount of experience with both

** Responsible, professional, service oriented - I run an online resume writing business

My background is in education and customer service supervisory roles (which means I'm collaborative, and/or, will make a quick independent decision/take action, depending on the situation)

I'm not just an animal lover that likes to travel (though I am also those things), I treat this with the same professionalism as my other business clients, with a personal touch.

** Non-smoker, no drugs. No drinking also fine, no problem

I work online from home. This means a couple things:

1) I'm home a lot (usually seen as a good thing/bonus).
2) I do need reliable, faster than not internet access (unlimited data strongly preferred).

RE: YOUR PETS
1) What are their habits, feeding schedules, and are these times are set/firm, or flexible? *Please be specific* vs. general ("EX: 6-7am" vs. just "in the morning")

2) Where do they sleep overnight? (and if they are adaptable to a change in their norm, or not?)

3) How often they need to go out for potty breaks? Do you have a fenced yard? Are there pet doors?

4) If you have dogs to be walked, tell me about how they are on leash (Do they pull? Dog/people friendly on walks? Etc.)

RE: YOU & THE HOME
5) What time you'll leave the home and return from your trip. Are the dates listed in the ad firm or approximate?

6) Pictures of the living areas accessible to the sitter (dining room/kitchen, TV room, and guest room (best if uploaded to your ad) to give me an idea of your space. *Sits without these photos will not be considered*
I’d love to see outdoor areas as well, and it's always nice to see YOU, too! (you'll see I've included lots of my own pics in this spirit)

Why they want to house sit

I like to explore new areas & am considering possible relocation areas as well. I also don't own any pets of my own, but I LOVE animals, so I really enjoy time with yours!

Their experience

More than most sitters: As mentioned, I have 15+ years house/pet sitting experience with multiple (enthusiastic!) references (I was doing this before sitting was big and these sites existed!) in 7 states + one international sit, too

What can they bring to the assignment

In addition to the above:

** Non-smoker, no drugs. No drinking also fine, no problem

** Clean, neat, detail-oriented. All will be in order as you left it, or better, when you return

** Plant/pool care/etc. all fine. Yard care: probably (explain what you need and we can discuss)

** Questionnaire/ checklist provided! I use this to gather vital info and instructions, which many clients have commented impressed them and was very useful.

** I would be bringing my own car (to US based sits)
