Hi I am David Jeremiah, and I’ve been house and pet sitting full time for over 3 years. I just completed my 22nd assignment and I'm onto number 23!

I found the majority of my assignments on another house sitting platform where I have 5 star ratings and 19 testimonials from happy home and pet owners. I'd be glad to share screenshots with you if you'd like to see more. And at this point in my house sitting adventures, I'm glad to say about a third or more of my assignments have been repeat sits.

I love animals and have experience taking care of dogs of all breeds, sizes and ages. From younger pups with lots of energy to older dogs that need more care, attention, and daily medication(s). I also have experience taking care of multiple pets at once. In fact, about half of my assignments involved taking care of two or more pets.

In addition to being a clean and organized person, I pay close attention to details and I’m very communicative with homeowners. I usually use WhatsApp/Telegram to send regular updates and photos. This provides them the ability to travel with peace of mind knowing their homes and beloved pets are being properly loved and cared for.

I'm a real estate investor, and as long as I have access to reliable internet and cell phone reception I can work from anywhere in the world.

I work Monday-Friday, so most of the time I’m a home body. This ensures I’m there to provide plenty of attention and love to your home and pet(s). I go for daily walks usually in the morning, occasional hikes, and go to the gym or pool if one is nearby. When I need to run errands I’m usually only gone for a few hours at a time. Or if I'm on an assignment near family and friends, I like to get out and about to socialize. Which usually is only for a few hours at a time.

*What I'm looking for in a house sit.

I don't have a car of my own, so unfortunately that limits me to only accepting assignments where homeowners generously grant me access to a vehicle to get around town. Don't worry, I'm a safe driver and not a speed racer. In fact, my mother and sisters have accused me for years of driving like a grandma. Haha.

I also usually look for assignments that are a minimum of 1 month, but ideally 2+ months. Since I'm a full time digital nomad I live out of 2 suitcases and a backpack. I've found it a better rhythm if I have at least a few weeks to hunker down in a place before having to pack up and hit the road again.

Bonus points if the assignments are in the Phoenix metro area and/or the San Diego metro area.

Why they want to house sit

I've been on this amazing adventure of house and pet sitting for over 3 years now. It's been a unique experience that's afforded me the opportunity to travel around to see new places, make interesting people, make new friends, and take care of some awesome pets.

Their experience

I have been house and pet sitting full time since May 2022. Since then I've taken care of dogs, a gecko, a parrot, and a rabbit. I've also taken care of plants, both indoor and outdoor. I am also very clean, organized, and tidy. Your home and beloved pets and plants are safe with me!

What can they bring to the assignment

I bring peace of mind to home and pet owners knowing their pets and home are being properly cared for. With over 3 years of experience as a full-time house and pet sitter I've learned to get better and better at what I do. I always treat each pet like their my own and give them lots of love and attention. I also take great care of each home, vehicle, and everything it, trying my best to leave it better than I found it.

Also, I'll share a humble brag. It usually happens after every assignment that homeowners are very pleased with the cleanliness of their home and vehicle(s). But are also sometimes a little bummed when they return home from their travels only to find their sweet pets ignoring them and choosing to follow me around instead. Which makes them pleased to know their pets took a liking to me and were properly cared for while they were gone.
