About this sitter

We are Patrizio and Susan, a Brit-Malaysian couple looking to do housesits as a way to see the world and help homeowners when they are away themselves.

Pat is a semi-retired journalist and has smallholding in Ostuni where he looks after olive trees, grows his own vegetables and lives an off-grid life. I am based in the city of KL, and occasionally engage in remote work of teaching and writing. We live in a bi-location life and are both independent, very adaptable, responsible and resourceful.

Why they want to house sit

After the experience of the pandemic, we feel it is time to seize the day and travel, and more importantly provide homeowners and pet lovers the security they need. Trust us, we understand how important it is to have reliable and trustworthy sitters.

Their experience

We have been longtime hosts of housesitters ourselves, having two homes - one in Ostuni, Italy and another flat in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

We have had informal and formal housesits with Trusted housesitters, and references can be provided upon request. We have had also many experiences of looking after flats, country properties. What can they bring to the assignment

We are both huge animal lovers. When we are away from our own homes, we engage sitters ourselves, so we are extremely mindful of housesitting assignments and conduct ourselves professionally during any assignment.

We can provide you with regular updates, follow instructions and make sure your pets and homes are safe, happy and secure. With years of experience with animals and looking after different types of properties, you can be assured we'll look after the animals and property as if they were our own.
