About this sitter
I'm an adventure seeking retired female,. Enjoy walking and hiking around the world. I am very comfortable with my own company, so I am comfortable downtown of a large city to a remote corner of the world. I have traveled extensively and I look forward to spending time exploring the new surroundings.
Why they want to house sit
I think house sitting is the perfect vehicle for an extended stay at a location, I like to travel and try to spend at least 3 months exploring the area, and experiencing the local culture, also if there's the possibility of taking care of pets, I think that is the only downside of extensive travel is I can't have my own pets.

Yes, I have done a few house sits, with pets and I have always had cats, dogs, fish birds.Also lived on a farm and believe cows , pigs, chickens and donkey's deserve love too
What can they bring to the assignment
I am a Canadian living in Mexico, so I am aware the differences of stepping out of our comfort zone and adapt very easy to new environments. Also bring an awareness of responsibility of the house, I was a owner of numerous homes, as well did some renovating myself hands on, care and attention to pets if involved, truly a serious animal lover.

From Mexico with love
Angela was an immediate hit with my 2 cats and my dog, and took excellent care of them whilst I was away. This included giving daily medication to one of my cats. She kept in regular contact before starting the house sit, which was very reassuring ,as I have been let down twice, at the last minute in previous years.She was happy to come a few days early which gave me time to run through things with her. She also gave me regular updates whilst I was away. I came home to a clean, tidy, house and contented animals, what more could you ask for. I would have her to house sit again without any hesitation.

We couldn't have been happier
We were so happy to have Angela at home! She connected to our cats immediately and it was beautiful to see how quickly she picked up the different characters, the different needs of the 4 cats. Angela is a lovely person who takes the sitting very serious! You really can rely on her, and she is a person who enjoys being at home with the animals she is taking care of. She does not go and explore the region and will only be back after hours. She likes to spend time with the animals, she was playing with our cats, she went to great them when they were in the garden and she interacted with all of them. She didn’t mind to have one of the cats coming and say hello in the middle of the night. She cuddled them but also respected when one of them had other plans. She is happy to get many information about the furry family. She sticks to what you have asked her in terms of giving some treats, medication to one or several cats. In the house, she is very tidy, she takes very good care of everything and respects the surroundings, the household. She was taking care of the plants, watering them and looking after the garden. As we were able to spend some time together we really enjoyed talking and getting to know her a little bit better. Angela is a very interesting person and we were happy to talk and learn more from each other. We could not have been happier having her and we wish she will admit to sit for us again in the future.

I would recommend Angela to anyone
Angela and I spoke several times on zoom to get to know each other and to discuss travel arrangements and dates which proved to be tricky for both of us. She is friendly, amenable, resourceful, experienced and easy to talk to and a great story teller about her travels. All my friends liked her very much as I do too. Tilly loved her almost immediately and it was obvious Angela felt the same. I completely trusted her to look after Tilly and the house of course whilst I was away for 3 weeks. Recommended house sitter
Angela took care of our 2 guinea pigs, 20 kg and active dog, the cat and 500 m2 garden that needed watering when it was not raining. We picked Angela from a hotel where she arrived one day before, not far from our place, 3 hours earlier than we planned to leave. We showed where we go for walks and discussed other details. Angela likes walking so we sent her path routs worth seeing nearby. We stayed in touch by Whatsapp. We got photos how our pets are doing. Angela followed all our instructions and left everything in perfect state (keys in secret place that we indicated). She had left before we came back. We had chance to talk for a while and Angela is kind and interesting person. I strongly recommend her as a house sitter.

Angela was everything we hoped for, and more, in a pet and house sitter. We wanted someone who could look after our dog and house for a month. We got someone who loved our dog and cared for our home. Angela is easy to communicate with when arranging the travel plans. We had the joy of a couple overlapping days between Angela arriving and us leaving — we got to know Angela as a personable, kind, and adventurous person. She treated our pup like her own. Our neighbours all sent us text messages while we’re away saying how spoiled our puppy was with the long walks and regular yard play. Angela also sent along pics of our happy pup. Angela cared for our extensive vegetable gardens, and everything was thriving upon my return. Since it was still early in the season, nothing was ready to harvest so I hope Angela’s next stay has a good harvest to thank her for her care of my garden. At the end of the stay, Angela left the house sparkling clean. 10/10 recommend. You can’t get any better for a house sitter, I’m certain. Thanks, Angela. Your love and care for our dog and house made our time away stress free and fun. Hope to see you again one day!

Peace of Mind when Angela Housesits for you
Angela took care of our older cat and our house for a month in February and lived up to our expectations for a good house sitter in every way. We promised her the usual beautiful weather that San Diego is famous for and instead she had a month of cold, wind, and rain. She even had to sweep water in our basement to keep it from getting too deep! Throughout it all, she kept in touch with a sense of humor and pictures of our cat enjoying the company. The house was as clean (perhaps cleaner) than we left it and she left a note to update us on several items. You can trust Angela to handle any problem that may arise and we hope to have her sit for us again in the future.

Angela: One of the Best!!
Angela housesat for us for about 4 months this summer. Our property is off the beaten path and requires a person who is comfortable with their own company and with being some distance from town and neighbors. We have traveled every summer for many years, with many housesitters staying, and we can whole-heartedly say that Angela is one of the best we've ever had! Angela was good at communicating, she was neat and tidy, and she was unfazed by our remote situation. She was willing to try her hand at whatever needs came up, including providing water to the wild animals that call our property home. She was a quick study at absorbing the instructions we provided. She proved herself a Real Trooper by surviving one of the wettest monsoon seasons, with flooded roads, fences knocked down, and a storm that resulted in a power outage that lasted for days! She took it all in stride! We returned home to a very clean and tidy house and all chores up-to-date. We would not hesitate to welcome Angela back, or to highly recommend her to anyone seeking a housesitter!!
