I'm a reliable, kind and empathetic woman with a big heart for animals and a penchant for gardening. I love exercising dogs, cuddling with cats and finding common ground with four-legged creatures of all sorts. I'm looking for long-term stints because I run an internet marketing business from my laptop --too much moving around interrupts my flow. I'm a homebody at heart so your place will rarely be unattended. If there's good salsa dancing in your area I will go there a couple of evenings a week, but otherwise I'll be hunkered down at your place, taking care of stuff.

Why they want to house sit

Full disclosure: From July to October my home town (Palm Desert) has triple-digit heat. Twenty-four/seven A/C is not my idea of living, so I try to fill my summers with trips to the mountains, the beach, cities with good weather...anywhere but here!

Also love exploring new places. House-sitting is a great way to experience life without the artificiality of hotel rooms and airbnbs. Since I'm working while I travel I like the stability and comfort of a real home.

Yes! I have done 2 month-long sits with large dogs in Mill Valley, CA; I've taken care of small dogs in New York City, Dallas, Los Angeles and elsewhere. I've done cat-sits in Palos Verdes (3 weeks).
