Kiwi Couple w/ Old Fashioned Values

About this sitter

We are a Kiwi (New Zealand) couple who have good old fashioned values - honesty, caring and careful, love cleaning (sad!) and absolutely appreciate that we are guests in someone else's house. Bruce loves dogs and Shelley loves cats as well as being a bit of a 'dog whisperer'. Open to other animals, fish etc as well.

Why they want to house sit

We like to immerse ourselves in the local culture and enjoy staying in one place for a while so we can explore the area in depth (we do this in our own country too !). And we are at a point where it's time to take it easy, enjoy a different lifestyle while also adapting to our hosts requirements.

Their experience

As proud house owners in NZ we are the typical DIYers prepared to give (almost) anything a go in the first instance. House sitting experience here in NZ and plenty of AirBNB experience !!

What can they bring to the assignment

We can assure our hosts we will leave the place better than when we found it ! We would value it as we would our own and the same with any pets we are entrusted with. They are real part of the experience and certainly not a burden in any way. We are fit, agile and friendly so walking, biking etc are definitely on the agenda.
