About this sitter
I'm a responsible, sensible, neat, fit, and experienced non-smoking dog/home owner whose 3 kids have grown up and am (finally) fulfilling my dream of living in various places for short periods of time.
I'm a freelance translator/editor so I can work from anywhere provided there's good wifi.
I love animals and have had dogs for the majority of my life, as well as an assortment of other smaller pets.
I would love to home sit for you and care for your dogs, cats, and other pets and plants/garden for periods between 2-3 weeks to 2-3 months. I'm very flexible re time and location.
I enjoy interesting and culture-filled cities as well as more remote locations with lovely nature and quiet outdoor activities so I'm open to all proposals.

Why they want to house sit
I love experiencing new places, meeting new people, and the concept of caring for another person's beloved pet in exchange for accommodations really appeals to me (and I'm good at it too!)

Yes, I am experienced! I've done various dog/cat sits in various locations (mainly through another similar website) and you can see some of the reviews I received... Before joining the sitting websites, I dog-sat extensively for several dogs of friends, including Cloe the husky, Jessie the Jack Russel, and Nona the aging fur baby, and I've raised and cared for multiple pets myself, mainly dogs, but also cats, hamsters and chinchillas (often concurrently)... in addition to 3 children...

Susan was kind enough to order and bring with her a special present from Israel that I gave to my grandson when we went to London. Our pets certainly had a great time with Susan. We were sorry that she had to return home so soon. She left the house in A better stae than when we left!!!! She has a lovely personality and we enjoyed the couple if days we spent together. Susan is welcome back anytime.

Lovely house-sitter for our senior cat
Susan took care of our senior cat Koko for a couple of weeks over the holidays late 2024-early 2025. She stayed in our apartment with her daughter, Noa. They were both very nice and friendly, and both love animals. Susan was very responsive, we had an initial video chat and she kept us informed during planning stages. They were very easy going and kept in touch during our vacation. Our apartment and cat were both well taken care of. We received a couple of videos of Koko and she seemed very happy. The apartment was in perfect condition when we returned. I would gladly have Susan over again as a sitter and would recommend her for future sits!

Friendly, responsible sitter
Susan spent a month caring for my apartment and two little sister cats, Xyla and Mika. There were no issues whatsoever while I was away -- Susan kept me updated with lots of cute pictures and stories about my happy kitties, so I knew they were in good hands. She was flexible when the apartment needed maintenance, and kept me updated on any important mail. She also just generally took great care of my apartment and plants; things were in better shape when I returned than when I left. Great sitter experience overall; I'll surely ask Susan to sit for me again next time I travel!
