About this sitter
I am a married college professor, part-time pastor, pet lover, and homeowner. I am looking for a townhome or house, with or without pets, where I can spend my breaks in the semester. I'm happy to provide personal references and would like to use Zoom meetings to get to know each other.
Why they want to house sit
My wife and I are looking to spend a week or two at a time in different parts of the U.S. just to see the country.
Their experience
I have watched and maintained homes for various friends and family over the years, including taking care of both large and small dogs. I have owned several breeds of dogs from Yorkies to German Shepherds and even the occasional exotic pet (snakes, lizards, and turtles). My own pets and home are included in the site pictures.
What can they bring to the assignment
I am a handyman and take pride in how I maintain my home. I know plumbing, electrical work, and appliance maintenance. There would likely not be an emergency while housesitting I would not know how to handle. I kept exotic pets off and on over the years and even some chickens.

I feel very fortunate to have found Craig on this website, he has now House sat for me three times while I have been on vacation, watching over not only my dog but also my horses and chickens and ducks. Everything has gone so smooth each time, Everyone is well fed and happy when I return, he sends me photos of all of the animals and the walks they go on while I’m gone, and what’s better is when I get home it looks like nobody has even stayed there, he even washes the linens and makes the bed before he leaves! if you need a housesitter, call Craig, he’s wonderful!

Excellent house sitter!
Craig and his family watched my house for one week, as well as my dog, horses, chickens, and ducks. Everything went incredibly smooth. despite the many tasks I asked him to do to take care of the animals, everything went really well. This was my first experience with housesitting, and I could not be happier with how Craig took care of my home. Everything was spotless when I returned from vacation. We had a wonderful experience having Craig and Patti Catlett dog and house sit for us in July 2022. Our dog Kyle is now 10 years old and has been experiencing new medical issues. We were relieved to know that both Craig and Patti had much experience with senior dogs and caring for them. We know that Kyle was taken great care of as when we returned, it was like we never left. He was relaxed and happy to see us. This was a huge relief for us. Not to mention, Craig and Patti took great care of our house. We had the unfortunate experience of having our upstairs A/C unit break during out time away. Craig and Patti, never complained and were able to navigate a portable unit to ease the heat of summer. They also communicated with us frequently and responded to all our messages quickly while we were away to let us know how Kyle was doing. We were grateful for having such conscientious and caring house sitters. We definitely recommend them!!!!!
