About this sitter

I love being in the city and country equally, and am simply looking for two things: ways to satiate my wanderlust, and a quiet space to call home away from home where I can research and work on my next book. I am a very clean person, so clean spaces are a must. Other than that, I am open to many experiences! I have my own dog and am very familiar with what it takes to care for pets.

Why they want to house sit

Several reasons. Traveling fires up my creative juices, which helps me write. I am working on my second book, and hoping to travel a bit more to finish it. I also hope to meet new people in the process of housesitting (in addition to seeing new places) and in general simply love the idea of house-swapping and sharing. It creates opportunities where opportunities may not be possible, and is in the spirit of community and collective thinking.

Their experience

Yes! I have house-sat for a cat in New York and I regularly house-sit my friend's two chihuahuas here in Los Angeles. I have my own (high maintenance!) dog so I am very familiar with furry pals and their needs.

What can they bring to the assignment

Most people say their home is cleaner after I have stayed in it. Plus, you get the bragging rights of saying a published poet has stayed in your home. ;)
