About this sitter
I am trained in Human Resource Management and Pedagogy and have worked in the healthcare sector for many years. This year, I transitioned into the field of psychology.
Pet sitting seems ideal for me, as I love both animals and travelling. I get along very well with all kinds of animals. I am attentive, organised, reliable, tidy, friendly, and I enjoy having a good laugh.
As you can see from my testimonial, I had a pet-sitting assignment in Italy in 2023, where I looked after two cats for five weeks. I loved every aspect of the experience—the cats, their owners, the house, and the beautiful surroundings.

Their experience
Yes I am an experienced house-sitter and I grew up on a farm, so I'm used to animals. I myself had both a dog and cats and spent a summer milking cows on an alpine pasture and making cheese and butter. I love gardening.
What can they bring to the assignment
A lot of experience with animals and plants, I´m flexible on location and duration and I am a very practical person who can also carry out small repairs.

The perfect house sitting in summer 2026
Ingrid and her partner Erling were sitting our house and all the animals and plants for a week in July 2026. We could not have found a better match! Both are extremely reliable and have a very natural way of caring for our animals (our very enthusiastic and rather active young dog, three cats, five chickens, a sheep and two donkeys). Love and cuddles but not too much spoiling, the animals were very happy and when we returned they all behaved as we were never away. They are confident and positive and we think that they could also tackle challenges independently (even though this was not required when we were away). Ingrid and Erling also cared very well for our home, we found it clean and nice and fully intact!! Digital communicating with the two was really easy, they are fun to talk to and very interesting persons, we are a bit sad we could not spend much time together. We can only highly recommend Ingrid and Erling as house and pet and plant sitters. I am very glad that the mind my house platform enabled us to meet these two very kind people who where somehow a natural fit to our home and I hope to meet them again.

Dedicated and reliable housesitter
Summer 2023 Ingrid housesat at our seventh heaven for 5 weeks. She showed herself as a dedicated and reliable house sitter. During the first week, when we were together also workawayers arrived; with them we had made agreements before we knew that we had to leave. Being of the same age and speaking the same mothers’ tongue Ingrid and they turned out to be a good match, like we had expected. Generally spoken, we have a preference for more than one person to house sit. So this was actually an ideal solution to organize some company for Ingrid. Furthermore her daughters came to join her. Already in that first week, Ingrid showed that she noticed that were very busy and offered to take jobs over from us. With one of her daughters she took the young kittens to the vet, she cooked for all of us etc. Once we had left communication through whatsapp was easy and smooth. Ingrid very precisely prepared the allodgements for paying guests: cleaned windows, washed all the curtains, checked the crockery and cutlery on cleanliness, mowed grass etc. She also organized a common meal with the guests, which was highly appreciated. We higly reccomend Ingrid as housesitter.
