About this sitter
I am a down to earth, quiet person who enjoys staying at home with a good book, or sci-fi movie, more than going out to a bar. I am reliable and like to clean and keep things tidy and organized. I do not smoke.
I would like to find house sits in the western US and I am flexible to any stays from two weeks to two months long.
Why they want to house sit
I love to travel and meet new animals so this seems like a great way to mix both of those! I'm hoping if I get the hang of house sitting in the US one day I could expand to other countries as a way to travel the globe.
Their experience
I am new to house sitting professionally but have helped friends and family before. I also grew up on a small ranch, so very accustomed to animal care (horses, dogs, cats, rabbits) and knowing that the animal's needs come first in your daily schedule. I've also owned and cared for ferrets, which are notoriously high maintenance.
What can they bring to the assignment
I can provide frequent updates to the homeowners, including photos. I will care for your pets as if they were my own. I can water plants, check mail, take out trash or recycling, or other small chores around the home.
I will clean the house at the end of my stay, to make it nice and pleasant for your return.

Great first time experience with Nicole
It was my first time working with a house sitter through this site. Naturally I was a bit nervous, especially going out of country for two full weeks leaving my dog and cat at home. Nicole was so great that I had nothing to worry about. From the very beginning, she was kind and punctual with her prompt communication, easing any concerns I initially had about the whole experience. I made a mistake of leaving an important document behind and had to ask her for help. She was extremely helpful, went out of her way to get me the document I desperately needed. Without her, my trip would have been jeopardized. When I returned, my home was as if I had just left. Clean, organized, things exactly as they should be. My pets seemed to be perfectly fine too. I was grateful to have her as my house sitter and would recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and kind person to look after their home.
