About this sitter
Hi I am a mature woman of English nationality but have lived in Italy for the last 30 years. I have always had cats, even as a child.
I am a divorced mother of 2 grown up sons. One lives in Italy 10km from my home and the other is a digital nomad, working his way around the world!
I am now retired, free from "child" commitment, therefore available all year. I work part time on line (so would always spend 3-4 hours in the home) and need good Wi-fi. I am tidy, organized, very calm person and a non smoker.
Why they want to house sit
As I am now retired, free from commitment, therefore I would love to combine the possibility of enjoying a pet part-time, with my love of travel.
Their experience
I have always had cats and been a good housekeeper. I have completed a number of sits via this website, and also locally for friends. One comment has usually been how calm I am, and that I leave the home cleaner than I find it!
What can they bring to the assignment
I speak English, Italian and a little french. I'd like to learn Spanish. I am clean, tidy and a non smoker.

We had Clare look after our dogs for a long weekend. She communicated well with us both before the sit and during her stay. Great dog sitter
Clare was in our home for a week during our trip to Spain, during November to care for our two dogs Alyssa and Domingo. She sent us photos of dogs and it was obvious that they were enjoying their time with her: She was consistant in taking them for walks, being very patient with Domingo who we know tends to pull a lot on the lead! We found house very tidy and clean on our return, the dogs were content so we would be happy to have Clare sit for us again.

House cat sit Liguria
Clare arrived a day early so that I could meet her and explain everything she would need to to. I found her to be very kind, good natured and my cat took to her straight away! Whilst away, I was sent regular updates and photos. On my return the house was as tidy and I had left it, and most importantly my cat looked very happy. This was my first experience with a house sitter, but it was very positive and I can highly recommend Clare.

Excellent experience!
Clare was at our home for two weeks taking care of our cat Orlando and watering the garden. She was always reactive, sending almost daily updates about our cat and how was going, and she was also very honest, informing us when she was away. Orlando seemed very happy with her and our studio was perfectly clean when we came back. Don’t hesitate to choose Clare and you will be in safe hands!

A great first experience
Clare at was at our home for a 3 weeks and she took care of our dog Badú and our the cat, Arya, and her 5 puppies! She was patient, attentive and loving with all of them and she has been able to solve the unexpected (the puppies have been some demanding!) she also took care of the house and the garden, leaving the house in order. The comunication it was very clear. A great first experience for us, because we were able to leave calmly, knowing that the house and its inhabitants were fine. Thank you Clare!
