About this sitter
We are a loving, happily retired 40 year married couple. We are very flexible, energetic, and caring. We are both never smokers, super organized and clean, and maximally vaxxed. We are also completely ethical, honest and reliable. We will keep you updated with photos of your BFFs (best furry friends). We value cleanliness/tidiness and prefer to stay in homes where these are valued as well. At the end of our sit, we change sheets, clean baths and kitchen, vacuum, etc., just as we do for any of our guest stays at friend’s and relative’s homes! We care for your home and animals as if they were our own. We have had a variety of animals in the past, and rarely refused when our (now grown animal-loving) kids wanted to adopt one. Over the years we have given homes to rabbits, hamsters, hermit crabs, a snake, fish, chickens, and of course, dogs and cats! We lost our beloved 16 year old rat terrier 11/22, and are petless for the first time in our lives. We have completed 2 sits with mindmyhouse and 2 with trustedhoussitters-all 5 star. ????
Why they want to house sit
We love travel, adventure, and exploring, and Iove animals. We have always had pets in our lives, and will care for yours with love. We are very tolerant and patient of pet quirks. This does not include pets who are not housebroken or aggressive, etc. We feel more comfortable when traveling staying in a private home vs. a hotel, and caring for your precious pets are an added bonus!
Their experience
We have a lot of experience caring for homes, gardens, indoor plants, and pets. I am a retired nurse and nurse practitioner, and Rod retired as business office manager in our local school district. We have remodeled several of our own homes and are very handy around the house. We possess an abundance of common sense!
What can they bring to the assignment
Our consistent loving, caring, calm (and fun) demeanor, and the ability to make your pets feel they are as comfortable as when their parents are at home. Our (somewhat compulsively) clean approach to caring for your home and grounds. We enjoy being busy and caring for our surroundings, and enjoy exploring areas/things to do and learn around us. If your pet likes to get out and about, they will be with us! We be love, love, love gardening! We want you to relax, be comfortable, and enjoy your time away!

Excellent sitters!!!
We had Becky and Rod house sit and care for our 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 horses. They were delightful from the moment we met them. They stayed over the first night with us so we could show them the ropes and we enjoyed our evening meal and had great conversations. We went on our way feeling comfortable and confident. They sent us pictures of ALL of the animals through out their stay. We couldn't have been happier with them both in their ease of communication with us and how much our animals loved them. Our home was left perfectly for when we returned. I recommend them whole heartedly. We hope to meet up with them down the road again one day!

Active Retired
Becky and Rod were wonderful. They kept our dog Gus active and gave him lots love and attention. (I’m not sure Gus even missed us). They kept us updated, especially first couple of days because this was the first time we left Gus with a sitter. It quickly became obvious that we had nothing to worry about. We returned to a house better than we left it.
