About this sitter
Hello, I'm Sara! Originally from Finland but been living in the UK 2018-2024 and last year I spent in Barcelona. I have my own dog who's a 4 years old pomsky.
I work from home at the moment as a Retention Executive. I love traveling, beach, sun, sports (I'm an aggressive roller blader so I'm always looking for new skateparks), nature and silence. I could pet sit dogs, cats and whatever animal really if you think that I have enough knowledge how to! I can always come around a bit earlier and we can make sure I'm aware of everything that needs to be done and taken care of.
Why they want to house sit
I love traveling but it means that I have to leave my own dog with my sister so I’m gonna be in need of some pet company. If the dog sitting is a longer period of time and in Europe, I would love to take my dog with me, she likes company as well. She’s a very good girl!
Their experience
Yes, I've been an au pair as well so if other people can leave their kids with me then you can definitely leave your pets with me as well. I also have my own dog so I know somewhat a lot specially about dogs. I'm big on affection so your pets will definitely get a lot of cuddles!
I’ve had 3 assignments so far, one in Thailand, one in London, through this website and the same people from Thailand wanted me to to catsit for them again but this time in Colombia. I went to Bucaramanga! I’m sure they’ll happy to answer any questions if you may have any.

Safety above all. Your pets are safe with me. And your house as well. I’m reliable so you can be sure I’m showing up when agreed.
I'm a clean and quiet person so you will find your house in the same condition as you left it. Your pets will be surrounded with love! I will send you pictures and videos throughout the sit.

Reliable, lovely sitter
Sara was a fantastic house sitter and dog sitter. She helped us out in a last minute situation and brought her adorable dog to stay at our house. Our dog is friendly but I wasn’t sure how it would go; Sara was calm and reassuring about it all. Our dog loved Sara and her dog so much that I don’t think she minded we were gone! :) Sara sent us sweet videos of the dogs playing and sleeping together, so lovely! The house was in perfect order when we returned. We will definitely have Sara come and stay again anytime.

Excellent house sitter, and very cool person!
Sara looked after our cat and fish for a month while we were away traveling, and she did an excellent job! She took good care of the house, was reliable about sending messages/pictures, and even spoke to our landlord/paid rent for us while we were gone! Sara is a well-traveled individual, so it was comforting to know that we didn't have to worry about her handling herself in a foreign country, She was able to ingratiate herself into our local community, learn a bit about the culture and enjoy some of the special landscapes on offer--all while taking great care of our furry pal! Overall she is a a great/responsible house sitter, and just a very cool and down to earth person. Hopefully we'll get the chance to work with her again in the future!
