About this sitter
We are a friendly, tidy, and responsible family of three, who love traveling, being in the outdoors, and the coziness of home spaces. Having worked through early seasons of our careers and business-development, we are currently taking the opportunity to travel with our six year-old daughter. We love time together as a family, travel schooling, working creatively, and seeing the beauty and wonder of this amazing earth. While we seek to keep an open ear for a variety of house sits, we are likely best suited for longer engagements in remote or rural settings, or in smaller communities. We are gentle-spirited people who can nurture and engage with well-trained and/or peaceful pets. While we love the idea, we are not experienced with livestock. We do, however, have a great curiosity around alpacas. We are clean and orderly, and can attend to some simple projects and maintenance along the way.
Why they want to house sit
As a family we love discovering and engaging with people and settings out amidst the world. We want our daughter to have memories of many places and to know that the world is a place in which she can adventure and walk her path however she might dream. While in a season of travel and exploration, we still love the natural rhythms of home and community life, and cherish the opportunity to take care of others’ home-spaces while they venture out themselves.

While we are relatively new to the MindMyHouse platform, we have watched over others’ homes and animals along our independent and family journeys. We are excited to continue engaging in the rhythms and relationships of this community.
What can they bring to the assignment
We are extremely mindful of the responsibility we bear in caretaking another’s home and property. At all points in a house sit, we will be consciously striving to take care of your home to the best of our ability, to hopefully leave it better than we found it, and to be responsive to your requests and standards for that care.

I cannot thank Evan, Sally and Analou enough for the beautiful care and love they gave to my three cats and dog during 8 weeks of good old Scottish winter weather. Better than this is not possible!
Evan, Sally and Analou have been our first homesitters. It was a pleasure to have them taking care of our farm and animals (sheeps, rabbits, chickens, and a cat) during our month plus in USA. They are lovely, curious, charming and genuine. We felt happy to share some time with them before our departure, to know more about them, to share ideas and values and see that we have a lot in common. It was easy to communicate with them even with 8/9 hours of difference. We loved to share our first experience with them and we are looking forward to meet them again :) thanks a lot, it was deeply pleasant!

Eleven out of ten stars!
Evan and Sally, with the able assistance of their kind and adorable little girl, set a new gold standard for house and critter care! They were more caring, conscientious, and communicative than we could have ever hoped for during our summer-long house-sit, sending us regular photos and texts to update us on our kitties, chickens, fish, and gardens. We were able to have a relaxing summer with the peace of mind that comes with knowing everything is in good hands back at home. We would have them back again in a heartbeat!
