About this sitter
I am a middle-aged teacher, restless for new experiences and new places. I try to keep fit hiking, running or gardening, and also love curling up with a good novel. I have been police-checked due to working in education and voluntary work, and usually need fast broadband for work purposes (assessment and tutorials). If you think you would like to consider me for taking care of your home, do get in touch and say 'hello' or 'Hola' or 'Howdy'...
Why they want to house sit
I love to travel and I'm curious about the nooks and crannies of the world that you never see, away from tourist hotspots. House-sitting allows for more real experiences in new places and caring for pets makes the experience less lonely!
Their experience
I have many years of experience looking after cats, dogs, horses, rabbits, geese, chickens... Some sits have been just a long weekend, others a few months. I have lived overseas (teaching) so taking myself off somewhere for a sit won't be a problem.
What can they bring to the assignment
Flexibility, respect and kindness. Quite fit and healthy with some practical skills, particularly in the garden. I prefer to get around on trains and public transport wherever possible, not just because it is better for the climate but it can be a wonderful way to see more of the world and meet people.
