About this sitter

I truly enjoy the company of animals, gaining their trust and learning their expressions.

Growing up my parents blessed me with the responsibility of several pets. Over the years I had rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, a cat and 3 dogs. We currently have a springer spaniel in the UK, who you see in the photos, and my corn snake may qualify for some sort of Guinness World Record if she keeps on! We also have a charming African Grey Parrot.

I split my time between The Netherlands, UK and exploring new places.

I appreciate a clean and cosy environment. I work remotely and can do so on a flexible basis to adjust to any routines. I prefer a longer sit of at least 10 days, to get familiar with the area, settle in and keep a nice balance of homecare, animal care, work and sightseeing. I would expect a home to be safe & secure.

Why they want to house sit

I miss the company of my families animals and my previous housemates dog. I love to travel often as my job allows and to also help others in the process.

Their experience

I've done several sits and dog walking jobs in The Netherlands. Along with a long term dog-nanny position for two wonderful Cane Corso.

I often care for our families springer spaniel when I'm back to cover for trips and work. I grew up with 2 other sweet spaniel dogs in our family too, who lived a long happy life of 14 years. I've had fantastic experiences through MindMyHouse, my testimonials speak for themselves. I do have more from the in-person connections in my community too.

Many animals I've cared for have at some point or as a constant needed special care. Whether that be medicine, wound care, special conditions for separation anxiety, or to help prevent undesirable behaviour, as guided by the owners of course.

What can they bring to the assignment

Availability to be at home with your animals as much as required, I can also adapt my work routine around and schedules. My late nights are behind me, I prefer the joys of an early morning. I have to communicate and do video calls as part of my job so I am more than happy with a daily check-in and updates.
