About this sitter
We are a happy couple who have been living full time in Spain for 6 years, but we are originally from Scotland.
We love to walk, cycle, find new places and we also love to chill out with a good book. And we love food, cooking and eating!
We have been dog owners in the past, but have no pets now.
Why they want to house sit
We love to house sit as it allows us to discover new places around the world. We also love travelling and seeing new places so this is a great excuse to do that. We are happy to house or pet sit.
We recently met a lovely American couple who are experts on this site and they just filled us with an excitement about getting involved.
Their experience
We come from families with pets, we’ve travelled, we are conscientious, and our working lives are with responsibilities. We've done this for friends before and loved it. Our backgrounds are law and property management, so we're reliable, hard working and happy for you to check out our social media. I also offer teaching English as a second language classes, so am comfortable in communing in different countries.
What can they bring to the assignment
We can bring a couple who are friendly, easygoing, outdoorsy, animal loving, relaxed, clean, tidy, non smoking and we will happily do odd jobs, gardening etc without any issue.
We are both environmentally aware, so if you have fans then we don’t want air con, and we want to help you to get away with peace of mind knowing that we will treat your home just like we do ours.

Truly a wonderful couple!!!
We highly recommend Colin and Claire. They were both exceptionally hard working, serious and highly motivated. They both have a charming sense of humor, are easy to be around, and made our time together very comfortable, delightful, and full of laughs. It was actually difficult to get them to stop working! – Both Colin and Claire continually found projects they wanted to do and got right to it! Just some of the projects included placing Art Deco tiles on the den ceiling, installing new locks and bolts on doors, applying exterior stucco, assisting with putting down floor boards…they accomplished so much more.... we just couldn’t keep up with them! Claire was also meticulous in cleaning and surprised us with extensive cleaning of our Chateau! Truly a wonderful couple !!!

A fit from the start
You would be very fortunate to get Clare and Colin to sit for you and your pets. They were conscientious, trustworthy and reliable and got on with the dogs straight away, difficult when they can be jumping all over you! I would have no hesitation in recommending them and would welcome them back anytime.

House Sit in Los Guajares
Clare and Colin are two most amazing people. They came for a house sit in September 2022 and within a week of arriving the biggest fire in Andalusian history broke out in our valley. They were told by the Guardia Civil to evacuate the house. They immediately got the dogs into the car and drove to the village where they had no where to stay. I was in Turkey and booked a flight home immediately but could not be there until the next day. They waited for me, took care of my animals and endured a really tough few days. I think it fair to say that Clare and Colin get a five star plus rating from me and I thank them from the bottom of my heart ????

They are the best!
Clare and Collin were adorable with our pets. They took very good care of Conan and Toto. They sent us photos of the walks and outings every day of our vacation. When we got back our house was spotless and our pets happy. We are very grateful and highly recommend Clare and Collin for pet care.
