My name is Roberto,I'm Italian and 65 years old and a reliable, caring and respectful person. I have a deep love for animals—especially dogs—with whom I share a natural empathy and connection. Excellent House&Pet sitter!
We were delighted to have Roberto come to look after our home & animals. From initial contact he had very warm and friendly approach, and we had good discussion about the stay and what would be expected- we could tell he was really thinking what it meant to be looking after our home & animals. He cared very much for our animals, we could tell the dogs & cats had thoroughly enjoyed his company, and Roberto did very well managing & milking our goats. Of course the chickens were also well cared for! At some point during the stay the goats broke part of their enclosure, for which Roberto immediately informed us and took initiative to do a quick fix. He also took good care of our large garden which had many plants which needed watering in the Greek summer and we were very pleased with the condition of it all upon our return. Roberto kept in regular contact with us; a good amount with which we felt reassured but also not so much that we weren't able to thoroughly enjoy our time away- it was an excellent balance. We were also pleased that Roberto is inquisitive&independent, and took it upon himself to explore the village and make local friends. Knowing how much he was enjoying his stay at our home further enabled us to enjoy our time away. When we returned the house and garden was in a clean & orderly condition, just as anyone would like to return home to after being away. We would absolutely have Roberto back to stay in future and recommend him to others.
