About this sitter
I am 63 and single.
I'm very healthy, intelligent, handy with tools, and could handle just about anything home-related that might come my way. I'm respectful of others' property and time. I am an excellent driver and absolutely an animal lover. I grew up on a small farm with many dogs, cats, goats, chickens and a horse I lost my beloved dog Arnie in May '22. I have fostered three dogs since then and was able to find great homes for two of them. I am currently an active volunteer with Dog Star, the largest dog rescue in CT. I love meeting new pets or other animals and would treat them as my own. I have no issues following any instructions you provide.
Why they want to house sit
Retired from NYC Dept of Education and have time to wander the world. Now living in Connecticut after 38 years in New York City.

I have done two house swaps where I traded my apt in NYC, once for a house in Miami and once for an apartment in San Francisco. I have fostered several dogs in NYC. Fantastic cat sitter for our Brooklyn apt
Kevin was an excellent sitter! Especially with our cat who needs medication every day. A really wonderful experience from start to finish, very friendly, great communication throughout and I appreciated getting photo updates of Chatty and Kevin's budding friendship while we were away :) When we returned the house felt cleaner than when we left! Great sitter! Highly Recommend
Kevin was a great sitter for our dogs and plants. Our dogs loved him! It was wonderful to be able to go on vacation without any worries knowing that our dogs were well cared for. Kevin was communicative and sent us a lot of cute pictures and videos. We highly recommend him!

Reliable, communicative and clean
Kevin watched my cat over New Year’s for about a week. He was a great house-sitter! He left the house clean, communicated regularly and promptly and most importantly took great care of Freddy, my cat. He also kept the plants alive, which was a bonus. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a dependable pet-sitter.

NYC holiday pet-whisperer
Kevin stayed at our apartment for 5 days and took great care of our pets and home! He sent pictures daily and was very communicative. The pets were happy and healthy when we came back. We would have him back again for sure. Thanks for coming and we're so glad you had a great time with them!

Above and Beyond Great!
Kevin was fantastic. My pups Sam and Lucy loved him, and I am not surprised, he took such good care of them! He texted pictures when I was away and took special care to both love them up and also keep them on a good schedule. He also took care of my home and this was no small feat- a hurricane (which turned out to be minor) threatened to shake things up on Tybee. Kevin took extra care to ensure my home was prepared for the storm and kept me appraised of the situation. He stayed a bit longer to be sure that I was home safely. I cannot recommend him more highly!
