About this sitter
We are Tracie and David Wolstenholme and live in Kent, England. We have three children aged 29 to 34. Two are married and we have one granddaughter. I am 65 and David is 64. Our little dog, Snowy, died in 2022 aged 17 and we have been registered with Mind my House for five years but not proactive in finding sits. Once our friends discovered we’d be happy to dog sit, we have mostly sat for friends and friends of friends in the UK. We have sat for a family in Limoges three times through Mind my House but now, sadly their Charlie, a Jack Russell, has died and we are no longer required to sit. We love walking and regularly go on walking holidays.
Why they want to house sit
To see more new places and meet new people. We would consider a position anywhere. House sitting offers the opportunity to live like a local.
Their experience
We have experience of looking after a Jack Russell, Airedale Terrier, Wheaten Terrier, Border Collie and of course a West Highland Terrier. We have one testimonial from the family in Limoges and could happily provide Moore from the other families we have house sat for.
What can they bring to the assignment
We are homeowners ourselves. Occasionally, I work as a steward at Penshurst Place, a local historic house. My husband was previously a royal marine and a policeman. We are both trustworthy, fun and personable. Please get in touch and we’ll hope to be available.
