About this sitter
We are a responsible, professional couple who work from home. My husband is German and works with a renewal energy company and I'm American and have worked as a life coach for women for the past 20 years. We live in a lovely part of Aachen Germany, We don't drink or smoke and lead a very healthy, active lifestyle. We love animals, enjoy the outdoors, do a lot of walking and lead a conscious lifestyle.
Why they want to house sit
We have found that house/pet sitting is a wonderful way for us to take a break from the city and explore new places, and we much prefer staying at a home where we can offer exceptional care for your home and pets, rather than staying in a hotel. We don't currently have animals, so we will dote on your pets and give them tons of love and affection.

Yes, we just completed a 5 week house sitting job in Malta (see testimonial on our page). We have done house sitting for a family here in Germany for two years. I (Silana) took care of an entire farm of animals in Colorado, USA from 2018 to 2020 (around 10 times). I have stellar references from the owner of the farm.

Wonderful caring sitters!
Silana and Chris were lovely conscientious sitters. They experienced more than their fair share of mishaps during the five month sit and were so great at communicating and working with us to solve the problems that arose - and they very pleasantly adapted when the problem could not be immediately solved! We unfortunately lost one of our dogs due to old age while we were away and they were a tremendous help with that. Also with helping our other dog cope with missing their friend. Both dogs were lovingly taken care of. I know our remaining dog will miss them. Our house and property were simply immaculate when we returned with many extra cleaning chores done. We couldn’t have found better sitters and we give them a huge heartfelt thanks.

Safe and Secure
We needed to travel urgently due to a family emergency. There was no time to plan. Silana and Christian responded fast, video-conferenced and flew out to meet us. They were with us in Malta within about 48 hours. For the next four weeks we had matters to attend to in Australia. Meanwhile Silana and Christian faced Malta's winter storms and power blackouts. Still, they took good care of our home, sailed through the challenges and returned the house to us in fine shape when we returned. We exchanged emails periodically while we were away. Everything went smoothly, and Silana and Christian seemed to have a great time getting to know Malta. We're very thankful that we met them, and grateful for their wonderful service.
