About this sitter
My name is Sinead and I am 57 years young. I grew up and have lived in Ireland all of my life.
My 4 beautiful children are grown up now and 'flown the nest'....
I set off from Ireland in 2022....
I have been housesitting/petsitting full-time in various locations in France & Portugal since 2022 where I have been looking after cherished homes & beloved pets....
It's been such a Joy & a great privilege....
I adore animals and have done since I was a small child.
I am looking for a relaxed, comfortable setting where I can spend time getting to know the animals in my care.....

Sinead was great !
We were gone for almost two months to California and Hawaii and we left our Princess female cat named Lady to Sinead and she was just marvelous with her, he didn’t take long for Lady to fall in love with her ! Sinead also took good care of our plants inside and out, we will definitely recommend her with no hesitations ! She was totally reliable !

Couldn't have been better
Sinead was amazing, in many ways. She took care of Chloe, our dog, as if she were her own and they became very attached. Sinead was lovely in every way and she really felt like part of the family. We were lucky to have her stay some days after the house sit was finished and got to know her quite well. She is a lovely person and I couldn't recommend her highly enough. She is kind, considerate and extremely friendly. We will miss her.

We highly recommend Sinead!
Sinead did a great job of looking after our cats for 3 months, as well as the house. She is friendly, gentle, thoughtful and very loving with animals. We felt completey assured that our beloved pets were being well looked after while we were at the other end of the earth. Sinead came to pick us up from the train station and had lovely meals waiting for us for our first two days back, which was much appreciated, and she treated our property, including two cars, as if they were her own. We have no hesitation in recommending Sinead as your next house-sitter.

A Fortunate Find
We were so fortunate to have Sinead with us for 7 months. A truly enlightened individual, she was responsible, helpful and good company. I have to say we became good friends in our focus on caring for the nine furbabies and our large house. We settled into a comfortable routine quickly and my husband and I trusted Sinead completely to care for the dogs and housecl while we were on vacations to Morocco, Greece Italy and the UK. She kept me informed of how they were doing every day by What's Up and being an experienced homeowner, mother of four and lover of animals, she was competent at trouble shootind an ssues.that arose such as 2 mini tornados hitting the house. She went the extra mile to help create and care for a huge potager (veg garden) and exercise the dogs to help them lose some weight. SO If you're looking for a Responsiblble, Reliable, Respectful person to care for your home and,/or beloved pets and property, believe me Sinead is a Godsend. You couldn't find a better housesitter. We are sorry we can't keep her longer but understand that she has her own path to follow. I'm sure you,'ll feel the same as she's so pleasant to be around with her engaging smile and positive energy. I know we'll be seeing each other again in the future. . P.s .... The dogs love her!

We highly recommend Sinead
Sinead came to housesit for us during a renovation and initially had to put up with builders sharing her space as they finished the kitchen. She was most gracious through it all and our cat, Patience, settled down with Sinead very quickly. Sinead is a very sociable person and, having met many of our friends, quickly formed a network of people to visit and have coffee with. Sinead left the gite very clean and tidy and kept in contact with us regularly, with pictures, videos and text, while we were away. We would have her back in a heartbeat.

A new member to our extended family in the Charente
We feel blessed to have found Sinead, who quickly became one of our lovely extended family here in the Charente. She has such a warm, caring and loving nature that our neighbours - English & French - immediately included her in their Xmas celebrations! As a house sitter, she offered the perfect balance of reassurance and independence - keeping us up to date on important issues (and cat news), while allowing us to spend a month's worry free time with our family. She is calm, confident, full of positivity and totally reliable. We wish her well in her future housesitting adventures and we highly recommend her to other homeowners.
