About this sitter
My husband, Kurt, and I are seasoned pet and house sitters with eight years of experience caring for a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, and other beloved companions. We’re both former Peace Corps volunteers, which has given us a deep sense of adventure and adaptability. We’re looking for house sits where we can continue to provide attentive care to pets while ensuring homes are maintained in pristine condition. Whether it’s a short weekend stay or a month-long commitment, we are committed to creating a comfortable and worry-free experience for pet and home owners.

We genuinely love animals and find great joy in caring for them. Although we don’t currently have pets of our own, house sitting allows us to stay connected to that passion by providing love, attention, and care to pets while their owners are away. It also aligns with our love for travel, allowing us to explore new places and cultures while offering a valuable service to pet owners.

During this time, we’ve cared for a wide range of pets, from energetic puppies and kittens to senior dogs and cats requiring medication and special attention. Great house/cat caretakers
Kurt and Lesley did a great job taking care of our extensive property and 2 1/2 cats. The garden and pool were well taken care of and they kept our kitties happy. Kurt kept us informed about anything that needed taken care of and sent photos of our cats. They left the Casita spotless. We were very comfortable leaving everything in their care and would highly recommend them.

Happy dogs and cat and healthy garden!
Lesley and Kurt are a very kind and intelligent couple. They took really good care of our dogs. They introduced a fun game for our high energy dog to search for kibble in the garden, brushed our elderly (moody) dog and showed all our animals lots of love (apart from our tortoise who turned out to be too shy to meet new guests). Our many plants and trees and the vegetable garden were well taken care of too, even through a very hot July. All in all: we can highly recommend Lesley and Kurt!
