I have experience with house sitting in several states. Arizona, Arkansas, Texas and Michigan. Have stayed with the elderly while family members have traveled. Stayed with animals both cats and dogs, several horses one time. Understands home ownership and I am a home owner. Know basic home repair essentials and know when to call a professional. Enjoy yard work and gardening.
What can they bring to the assignment
The experience and responsibility of being a home owner, have traveled the United States and understand climate differences. Tolerate both cold and hot/humid climates. Just enjoy experiencing other places. I do not charge for housesitting, although I do ask for gas reimbursement at 40 cents a mile to travel round trip, I do not charge for any mileage while I am at the housesitting assignment. No one has complained about this so far.

We had an outstanding experience sharing our home and pets with Donna. She helped us out and went out of her way to come early when we had our dates wrong. Donna made a great impression on our neighbors and loved on our pets. They were very much at ease upon our return. Everything in the home was taken care of and she went above and beyond on her walks to pick up lake trash that tends to accumulate. Donna took perfect care of our home and left it very clean and tidy. We feel very comfortable to plan more trips now that we have a reliable and friendly house sitter in Donna.

Winner!
Donna cared for my cats and my condo for a week, and I'm eager to take another trip so she can come back! Not only were the cats well cared for, but I came home to an immaculate house where everything - including dishes and towels - had been washed and put away! Donna is very personable, friendly, and independent, and the cats liked her (as was evidenced when she reported that one had even come onto her lap). This engagement was a win/win.

Liked her so much we invited her back!
Donna Jean has house-sit for us twice...once for 3 wks and once for 4 wks. Our house was immaculately clean each time we returned and our pets (a cat and dog) were well-cared for. Donna also satisfactorily maintained our swimming pool and our garden. We were very comfortable leaving our home and our fur babies in her care. We have no reservations recommending Donna to anyone desiring a reliable and trustworthy housesitter.
