Hello, Owners!
I have always lived with family and friends owning both beautiful homes and plush surroundings, to rural properties and farm stays, and, most commonly, with their pampered pets or farm animals. Thus, it is second nature to have raised my family in similar environments, and mixed with people who adore their homes....from quaint off-grid cottages to elegantly designed mansions. My own home is a little more humble but no less loved and beautifully maintained. Care and loyalty are my priorities when sitting....homes and pets are valuable and much loved, I understand. I am comfortable with most animals and have proven myself quite adept at jumping in the old farm truck and opening and shutting gates to change pastures, with a couple of trusty working dogs helping with herding cattle and sheep. I've worked at wineries and fruit and olive groves, with tastings and restaurants involved. I enjoy helping our farmers out during the winter months so that they can enjoy a break. But equally so, being by the beach during summer months is fabulous, cherishing the fresh sea air and water. Looking after domestic pets is a treat that I appreciate especially now that my little Jack Russell, Winston, recently passed away.
In summary:
Therefore, I recognise the need for absolute privacy, discretion and loyalty when house sitting your most prized possession and those who dwell within. I have managed such properties at iconic Noosa, on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, in Brisbane's exclusive inner suburbs, beachside homes and apartments on the Gold Coast and country manors attached to wineries and orchards in the coastal hinterland and rural farms. It is a love of design and the further opportunity to appreciate different environments that has propelled me to join. I get to travel, sometimes interstate or even internationally, and you, most importantly, get to experience peace of mind for your home, garden and any friendly pets.
I have an overwhelming need to really live after my own personal victory over cancer and the loss of my father, and most recently, my mother. My priority is to embrace all that adds to the beauty and quality of my life. In a position of servitude to Owners, you can have complete trust in me in maintaining your special 'manor' and your little buddies/pets. I am well-mannered, do not smoke, and am completely honest and trustworthy. I have never said I'd do a sit and then go back on my word. You can leave without a worry, thus enjoying your time away. Leave it to me, the Manor Minder. You simply can not go wrong in choosing me for your house sitting needs!
