Why they want to house sit
I left Germany a good five years ago because I find it very interesting to meet new people and explore countries. I want to see a lot more, so I think the opportunity to look after the house and/or animals is a great idea.

Jens was the ideal sitter for our large house in Paris for a three month period over a very hot summer during June, July and August 2026. He is very likeable, quiet and meticulous person. When we returned our house was tidier and cleaner than we have ever seen it and the plants were healthier. Furthermore, Jens had managed to clean every window in the house - which is no small feat, considering there is more than 20 of them! If you need someone who is quiet and reliable Jens is very much your man. We can't thank him enough and hope he returns one day to do it all again. Highest recommendations!

Best of the Best
Jens is phenomenal at every aspect of house and pet sitting. My pets have never been better cared for, even by myself. He is focused on their well being and loving them. They love him and will be very sad when he leaves. He communicated regularly during our month away and always responded right away. My house and yard were immaculate, and all my garden tools organized! Mail was collected daily and neatly stored. All the neighbors, family and friends who met Jens loved him. We’re so very grateful to Jens, and Mindmyhouse!

Came back to spotless apartment and happy cats
Jens is very friendly and easygoing, with lots of experience in house and pet sitting. After initial contact we were able to quickly schedule a video call. He arrived and departed as we discussed, sent photos and videos of cats every day (as requested), and was overall very responsive and easy to communicate with. When getting back, the apartment was spotless, and the cats were very happy.

Exceptional Pet and House Sitter!
Jens was friendly and respectful. Our little zoo (dog, 3 cats, bearded dragon and fish) took to him quickly; Splat was genuinely sad when he understood Jens was not his new owner. He took Spat on frequent and adventurous walks. The pictures he sent definitely showed they were all very much a little family in our absence. When we returned, the house was incredibly clean in every detail!! The garden was exceptionally tended to - more than our expectations!! Various neighbors told us how pleasant he was with them, and how well our dog responded to him. He was quick in communication and notifying us with questions.
