Hi! We are Onna and George, a friendly, mature and responsible couple in our early 40’s, with a shared journey spanning over 16 wonderful years, deeply passionate about animals and traveling around the world.
We used to live in London and Birmingham for many years, but life in metropolitan crowded areas was not meant for us, so a few years before the pandemic, we decided to take a leap of faith, breaking free from the confines of our conventional lives and we embarked on an amazing adventure that tested our limits and enriched our souls. Traveling alone, orchestrating every detail, navigating the unknown - it's challenging, yet profoundly rewarding. Along this path, we discovered something truly special - the joy of caring for homeowners' beloved pets. It was in Mexico where we embarked on our maiden pet care house-sitting assignment, igniting the spark of a heartfelt commitment to house-sitting.
We are both vegans, non-smokers, embracing a minimalist lifestyle and we prioritize a healthy diet with simple meals, channeling our time into learning and reading, rather than cooking.
Former finance, IT and hospitality professionals, we've transitioned to video editing for YouTube channels. Additionally, we do a lot of online research on innovative digital products and AI new technologies, which we hope to integrate into our portfolio in the near future.
Why they want to house sit
We adore all animals! Since due to our nomadic lifestyle we don't have pets of our own, house-sitting becomes a wonderful chance for us to share our love and care with your furry friends. Besides, we get to know new people, travel and live in exciting new locations.
As remote workers, we'll be present in your home for the majority of the time, guaranteeing your house's security and providing your pets with lots of love and attention. Also, if they enjoy outdoor activities, we'd be delighted to take them to join us on our daily walks.
Their experience
We grew up with pets around us, but because we've been moving frequently, we never had the chance to become pet owners. Nevertheless, whenever the chance arose, whether through friends or local advertisements, we took every opportunity to spend an amazing time with adorable animals. We've cared for many dogs and cats, occasionally a rabbit and even hedgehogs, some needing regular medication and special attention.
We understand how much your pets mean to you and so, we make it our mission to provide the love and care they deserve, ensuring their well-being in your absence.
We have completed three assignments on this platform, each earning exceptional reviews that highlight our dedication and reliability.
With our extensive travels, we've lived in various properties, both rural and urban areas, and treated each one as if it were our own. We were also experienced Airbnb hosts (and occasionally co-hosts), where we consistently received appreciation for the high standards of cleanliness and hospitality we provided to our guests.

Only George managed to come for this sit, and he took really good care of my cat Ariel for two weeks. Since our first call I had the impression that he was reliable and trustworthy, and during his stay he definitely proved me right. He is also really independent: due to a change of plan, I could not be there to welcome him, and he decided to find the house on his own, without the help of my friends. During his stay he really bonded with Ariel, and even managed to find a meal schedule that was working even better than mine (which I am still using!). Also, he kept me updated with videos, pictures and messages. At the end of his stay I finally got to meet George in person, and it was a real pleasure to spend the evening together, chatting and eating the meal he had cooked. He definitely has a lot of interesting experiences to share. I definitely recommend George as pet/house sitter – also I hope to get the chance to meet him, and Onna, again in the future.

Lovely couple, cared for our cat and house as their own!
I am so glad we got to meet George and Oana. They inspired trust and warmth since the first time we spoke and thanks to them, we could relax on our holiday, knowing that our cat and house are in good hands. They connected with our cat immediately and we could see when we got back, how well cared was in our absence. Maybe even spoiled a bit :) I can imagine our cat having a holiday of its own with George and Oana beeing very attentive to it's needs and offering plenty of cuddles :) George and Oana are very discrete people who treated our house as their own. We found it in perfect order, even cleaner than we left it! George even cut the grass before we came, form his own initiative. The communication was perfect all the time we were away, not to often, to allow us to relax, but frequent enough to not start worrying . Was like they were reading our minds, whenever we were asking ourselves what Sasha was doing, I would receive a message from them :) Would reccomend George and Oana from all my heart to anyone who wants responsible sitters with genuine interest and love to give to their pets! I would love to have them at our place in the future if our plans align again. I am sure Sasha will be thrilled to be with then again :) Thanks you George and Oana. Wish you all the best!

The perfect house keepers.
Onna and George are amazing people and definitely the perfect house keepers. You can tell right away, as soon as you meet them, that are people with a great heart and people you can really trust. True, reliable and honest. They also travelled a lot, all around the world, so they have a lot of experience in so many different environments and situations. Not to mention the amazing stories they can tell you (they speak a really good English and Spanish as well). We are a vegan family, all of us, and they are both vegans as well, so it was amazing for us to connect with likeminded people who share and truly respect your values and habits. They treated our house like their own, in fact at our return we found the house better and cleaner then when we have left. Our two dogs were the happiest as Onna and George always took a great care of them, playing with them all the time and always taking them for pleasant walks. They were so thoughtful to send us pictures and updates all the time, to show us the dogs, the cat and the house. We couldn’t be luckier on finding this amazing couple to housesitting and to take care of our animals. We definitely recommend Onna and George to anyone who is looking for house sitters and we truly hope to guest them again in the future.

George and Onna were saviours to me as my previous house sitter although confirmed let me down with very little notice. They are two of the nicest, calmest people I've met. My pets are very shy of strangers but they really took to this couple quickly and loved all the attention they received. My dog Lucy especially loved her walks and cuddles. We spent the night before I left going over everything they needed to know and I answered their questions which showed their interest and knowledge of house / pet sitting. I couldn't have wished for a better couple to look after things at home while I enjoyed my hols. They even did some gardening and introduced me to vegan food. My pets and I would love to have them visit again and I have no hesitation in fully recommending them to anyone. Thanks guys and enjoy your new placement. Hope to see you again.
