Hello! We are a young family who are looking for simple ways to have new experiences. I work remotely building computer science curriculum, so we would spend most of our time at the property. My husband takes care of our 2 year old. He was a landscaper for 12 years and has extensive experience with caring for yards. He is also very capable with his hands with home maintenance and possible repairs. I grew up taking care of chickens, dogs, cats, birds, and all kinds of pets.

We have also spent extensive time in other countries, so living and working in other countries is our comfort zone. I speak fluent Chinese and my husband speaks fluent Tagalog and conversant Spanish. You can see our experiences at walkabout.travel.blog.

We also have strong religious morals that lead us to not drink alcohol, do drugs, or smoke. We are not partiers and just want to quietly experience a new place.

We also have MANY house plants that are thriving. So we know how to take good care of plants.

We are just looking for affordable ways to get new experiences. We love to explore the world and learn about new approaches.

We have done house sitting before locally and in foreign countries--taking care of 2 horses, a cat, and chickens. We took care of unexpected problems such as flooding and the gas tank running out of gas. We paid internet and electric bills in foreign countries without a problem. We are really good at problem solving.
