About this sitter
I am a 59 year old retired educator and mother of 2 adult daughters. My husband and I live in Poulan, Georgia which is in Southwest Georgia (Southeast of Albany, Georgia). I worked as a Speech Language pathologist for 24 years, a media specialist for 1 year, and for the last 6 years I worked as a special education paraprofessional in the town where my mother resided. I have loved animals all of my life and have cared for numerous dogs and cats. I have house sat on 12 separate occasions for 2 families in the Atlanta area in the past 3 years. We currently have one cat named Bobby, that my husband feeds when I house sit. My daughters named Bobby after the character Bobby on The Brady Bunch!
Why they want to house sit
I love animals and I find it relaxing to get away to another location. It gives me a lot of good down time! I am used to looking after animals so that comes really easy for me.
Their experience
I have loved animals all of my life and have cared for numerous dogs and cats. I have most recently house sat for a family on 6 separate occasions and am scheduled for 1 more this year.
What can they bring to the assignment
I will update the clients daily with written communication and pictures. I love talking to pets and looking after them.
