About this sitter
We are originally from the US, but have lived and worked in many parts of the world, including Europe, South America, Southeast Asia and the South Pacific. We have traveled extensively around the world and, because of this we have a deep love, understanding, and respect for different cultures and ways of living. We love to travel and immerse ourselves in other cultures as well as make new international friends. Marijani is an Artist and Surface Designer. She aspires to peacefully work from wherever we are. Hans is a Web Developer specializing in organizing WordPress websites. Additionally, we absolutely love animals! We have been pet owners ourselves and have cared for many pets throughout our lives (dogs, cats, birds, fish, bunnies). We understand your concerns. Marijani has hosted many people for quite some time and knows how to organize, manage and maintain a stylish, clean, comfortable and safe abode. Bonus: plants will thrive with Marijani. She previously owned and operated a botanical garden on a tropical island, so she has a major green thumb and has an abundance of experience taking care of indoor/outdoor plants, flower gardens and vegetable gardens.

Marijani has both house sat and hosted house sitters. We believe that it is one of the best ways to travel and explore the world. It’s a mutually beneficial solution, and it’s nice to have a home-base and some pets to care for while traveling. It really enriches the whole experience. We adore animals and have a lot of experience house sitting and pet sitting. Marijani has experience with special needs animals, administering medicine and extra loving care as needed. Wonderful sitters
Hans and Marijani are excellent sitters. The cats were very happy with all of the care and attention received. They felt very loved. This included Pickle injuring his paw and needing treatment at the vet. I received regular photos and reports. I was so happy that the lawn got cut! Twice because of the rain and sun encouraging growth. Everything was clean and tidy. Nothing was too much trouble. These are kind and considerate sitters and I would definitely recommend them.

Attentive, Conscientious, Amazing House Sitters!
Hans and Marijani came to look after our home and pets for two weeks this summer. From the outset, their communication was excellent and they provided us with a sense of trust and capability. We knew before we even left that our most precious things were in good hands. They arrived having fully prepared themselves by thoroughly reading and understanding the instructions we had provided in advance. They asked thoughtful questions and made us feel confident that they would be able to manage any issues that might arise in our absence. Throughout their stay, Hans and Marijani remained in contact to update us on our pets, sending photos and anecdotes to put our minds at ease. It was lovely to know that our cats were cared for with affection and kindness. Even when an unexpected issue arose with one of our geese, Hans and Marijani took it in their stride, kept in touch and managed it all brilliantly. When we returned, our home was spotless! It had obviously been lovingly tended to and prepared for our return. We could not me more grateful for their effort and would highly recommend them as outstanding house sitters.

Fabulous house sitters!!
Hans and Marijani are the most fabulous house sitters. They took such amazing care of our house and our animals. They were very reliable and quick to answer any messages. We spent some time with them before we left on our holiday and thought they were so much fun and so caring. Our kids also loved them. We have asked them to come back the next time we are away.

Amazing people!
We were so happy to have Hans and Marijani stay at our place and take care of our cats. Marijani is an expert plant carer and my plants all thrived during their time here. The garden, which tends to get overwhelming without lots of care because of its size, was very well cared for and some tomato plants I forgot secure were happily secured when we got back. Such a lovely extra touch. Our cats were also so happy and healthy, and they handled some unexpected health hiccups from our cat with ease. They gave the cats so much personal attention and we could tell they were happy and healthy when we got back. Our house was also so clean and tidy when we got back which was a treat after travelling for so long and being so tired. During their stay we got updates during our time away to keep our minds at ease, and they were just all around lovely people to communicate with from the very beginning. They are trustworthy and have very good energy and we knew from the beginning they would be great people. Our holiday was so long too so we were very happy to have them. We would welcome them back in our house any time - thank you both for the great experience! Only positives from their stay. And best of luck in all of their next adventures, we hope we will see them in the future!

Would have them back anytime!!!
An adorable couple that we would not hesitate to have back. All our animals were super-well cared for and happy, the house was a delight to return to, clean, tidy, the grass cut etc. They sent us regular photos of the animals so we had no doubt they were in good hands. Hans snd Marijani really are a special couple - kind, loving, full of knowledge, helpful, interesting and our time spent together was very enjoyable. I am sure we will keep in touch and would love to have them back to sit in the future. Thanks again xx
