About this sitter

My husband is finishing up his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree with two more internships and then we will Travel PT around the country for three months at a time. I am a Montessori assistant and dog walker/house sitter by trade. We have a lovely, gentle, non-shedding, non-barking, non-chewing, small to medium hound mix who serves as a playmate and emotional support animal for the animals that I sit for. He has lots of friends and is very well adjusted. We are looking for longer term house sits with or without animals. I love caring for plants and keeping the space tidy. My husband Chase can do yard work. We will be in Eureka California for the summer and Spokane Washington for the fall.

Why they want to house sit

We have house sat internationally for a summer and it's such a practical way to travel. I do a lot of house and animal sitting in my home town of Duluth MN and have great references. If you have pets, better yet because we LOVE animals!

Their experience

I am 43 and have been house, pet, and garden sitting for over twenty years on and off. I come with great references. In my home town I had a regular crew of eight families that I regularly did house,garden or pet sittering for. All through word of mouth.

What can they bring to the assignment

We are a mature married couple. Honest, dependable, trustworthy, responsible, loving and kind. We love to care for animals and we are good at it! It's important for me to help a pet who is away from their families to feel safe, loved and delighted in by us. I am good at keeping a space neat and have a green thumb. My husband, Chase, is good at figuring household or property issues out and we are both clear communicators. We don't smoke or party.
