About this sitter

Hey there! My name is Ally, I'm 27 and embarking on the trip of a life time in June. I will be traveling from June until October. This will be the first time I'm away from my baby, Rupert (dog) for a lengthy period and I'd love the opportunity to pet sit- as this will allow me to get those cuddles in and explore a new exciting city! I'm a Counsellor/Social Worker working in the Child Protection space here in Australia. In my free time I'm hanging out with Rupert, my friends, going to parks, events etc. I love pottery and am hoping to get a good amount of that in whilst exploring Europe.

Why they want to house sit

As mentioned above, I will be missing my boy Rupert and will really relish in the opportunity to give some love to your pet/pets! I have had pet-sitters for Rupert, and his brother Hervey before. I used the website to find them a sitter in 2019 and had a wonderful experience. I appreciate how nerve wracking it can be trusting someone with the great love of your life and I take the responsibility very seriously. I have had years of experience as a pet sitter myself and have always received great feedback. I have a return visitor, Polly a Bichon Frise X who I adore :)

Their experience

I have been a dog Mumma now since I was 16, so 11 years. I take the responsibility of this incredibly seriously, ensuring my babies never go without and always feel wrapped up in love and affection. Hervey, Bichon Frise I have had from a puppy until recently, he passed away at the age of 10. Rupert, Tibetan Spaniel X I have had since he was a puppy and he will turn 9 this year. Hugo, my sweet Tabby passed away 11 months due to FIV. Prior to this and since I have fostered several kittens and adult cats. My family are horse people and I grew up around horses and farm animals. I have been a pet sitter spanning several years now to dogs and cats. I treat every animal in my care as if they were mine. Additionally, prior to graduating from University I worked as a professional Nanny for 9 years. This meant a I was in charge of homes, washing, watering plants, making dinner etc. These experience have shaped me into a great house guest and house sitter.

What can they bring to the assignment

Besides all of my experience and love for animals- fun, adventure, kindness, reliability, intrigue, dependability and lots of animal love
