About this sitter

Robert and I are born explorers and equally enjoy the hustle and bustle of urban locations along with the peace and quiet of rural escapes. We truly relish visiting foreign and domestic destination. Between us we've been on 5 continents, traversed 40+ countries, and visited countless cities, villages, and towns. There's been zip lines, cruise lines, and conga lines. We're avid photographers and supply Google with endless photos of where we go and what we eat. Something we wouldn't necessarily share with our doctors. The coming year will be a different focus as we relocate from the US to Ireland now that Stephen has Irish citizenship.

Why they want to house sit

As part of our move to Ireland, we'd like to find opportunities that will provide us the chance to experience more in-depth stays in the Leinster and Munster regions - no offense Ulster. Something a bit more than a brief stay as we've done in the past. We are experienced members of Trusted House Sitters and only recently ended our professional petcare business through the Rover network. In both venues we have managed to achieve unanimous 5 star reviews. And those pets benefitted from more than thirty years of caring for our own 18 cats and dogs. There were some fish along the way too. Hopefully we can continue our streak on the Emerald Isle.

Pardon the immodesty but we are a dynamic duo when it comes to house-sitting with or without animals. Steve is a real estate broker with 23 years of experience. He knows houses and how they work. Robert managed our Airbnb property in Palm Springs during our three year stay there. In both situations we've earned 5 star reviews across the board. We also started a petcare business during the pandemic that has earned us rave reviews. We take what we do seriously. Especially when we are entrusted with cherished pets and homes. We currently live in a 1918 Craftsman house which is a hardy relic loaded with character. There isn't even a dishwasher to be found inside it's four walls. Talk about old world charm.

What can they bring to the assignment

Clearly we are hard workers and men of our words. We use clear communications but are quite capable to act independently with good judgement. We appreciate the beauty of nature as much as a tall skyscaper. We know what it's like to be on the road and remain concerned about a home and pets. So we will do our best to make sure you can relax and feel confident that there's nothing to worry about back home.
