About this sitter
We are a married Polish- English couple, who are language teachers based in Warsaw, Poland. We have two adult kids. Our daughter will sometimes accompany us on the assignments - especially those involving horses. We are proud owners of two rescue dogs and one very talkative parrot.
We live in a big city but enjoy peace and nature. We love animals and outdoor activities. We are also keen travellers and nature photographers. We are looking for the opportunity to be in different places and live for a while like the locals do, with all sorts of animals to look after.
Why they want to house sit
We would like to housesit because such an arrangement makes any journey a lot more personal and memorable than staying in a hotel. Also, we love animals and a house/ flat feels empty without them. We are looking for a potential place for retirement/ investment and housesitting in different areas is probably best way of learning if this is our place on Earth.
Their experience
We are experienced in looking after pets and the houses of our family and friends. We have also owned pets all our lives, so caring for other furry friends is not a problem. When we go away, we always make sure that we have proper care for our animals first.
What can they bring to the assignment
We can bring the peace of mind that -first of all your four-legged friends will be looked after as well as if they were our own, and basically- will be spoilt.
We are vegetarians, non-smokers, non- partygoers.
The animals and the house in our care will be safe. We are mature, responsible people. We can give regular updates on your pets' well-being via WhatsApp, Skype or Messenger.

Fantastic house sitters, really good with our menagerie of animals who loved them! Dogs got lots of long walks every day and sulked when they had gone. Great communication both before the sit and during, sending lots of photos of the animals. They were very kind and made us a delicious meal on our return. We would welcome them back any time.

Perfect !
Danke and Roy were the ideal couple for us to care for our two galgos, They were so easy to get along with and very helpful around the house. We are quite specific with requirements for our dogs care, but had no worries at all. They listened carefully and carried out instructions to the letter. Our 'boys' were very well looked after and enjoyed their time with Danke and Roy and vice versa ! We came home to happy dogs and a lovely meal which they had prepared for us. We would welcome them back at any time.

Wonderful caring and conscientious sitters - definitely recommended
Danka and Roy are the best sitters that we've had via Mind-My-House so-far. Not only were they so caring of our pets and followed my istructions to the letter, but they made suggestions as to the care of our rescue canary, cleaned the house (even their room on the day of leaving, which wasn't necessary) and cooked us a meal for when we arrived late home from our holiday. I was confident that our pets were attentively cared-for during our time away, so could relax on holiday. Our dog Roxy is very nervous, but she quickly settled with Danka whilst they managed our parrot with confidence. We also had a couple of nights together chatting and sharing experiences, so feel that we've made friends to keep in-touch with. I would definitely recommend Danka and Roy as petsitters.

We were lucky to have Danka, Roy & Sophie come and pet/house sit! They really love animals and were confident in handling our dogs. A delight to work with and exceptional communication. We’d have them back in a flash to care for our pets.

Friendly, reliable, knowledgeable, and communicative house/pet sitters
From the first video call I did with Danka and Roy, I could tell that this would work well for all of us. There was a mutual trust from the very beginning, largely because the communication was so forthcoming. They loved on our dog and cat perhaps better than we do, even, as they now expect many walks and treats, lol. It was obvious they had experience with and loved animals. We returned to a clean and tidy house, watered plants, happy, relaxed animals, AND a delicious, prepared hot meal, which was extremely welcome after an 11 hour drive home. I would love for them to come back, and would be interested in visiting them in Warsaw now, as we connected so well. I thoroughly recommend Danka and Roy as house and pet sitters, and as wonderful people to get to know.

Super, knowledgeable, animal loving Sitters. First timers who were terrific. Charming, thorough, trustworthy, organised who loved a dogs and cats like their own.
I knew from our video call, that although they were new to house and pet sitting, Danka and Roy were going to be be very good. Experienced with their own animals, and obviously love dogs and cats. Communication was fast and reliable, they kept us informed throughout their stay with messages and photos. They took Teddy, our chorkie dog, absolutely everywhere and handled our very large and strong Labrador/ Beauceron cross dog with love and confidence. The house was spotless on our return, the plants were watered and well tended, a lovely meal prepared for us and very happy animals. They are welcome back anytime and we will try and visit them in Warsaw, as they were so kind and friendly. I can thoroughly recommend Danka and Roy both as lovely people but also as excellent house and pet sitters.
