About this sitter
I am a mature, responsible & positive woman with ten years experience in pet sitting/home sitting.
I am a retired professional - now studying part time online - and sometimes do volunteer work when I travel with animals and community sustainability. I am tidy, nonsmoking and peaceful. In my spare time I write, take photos, do yoga, and hike.
I am new to this site, but I have been working with another international petsit/housesit site. I have over 40 excellent reviews there. I haven't figured out how to transfer them to this bio page on MMH, but I am happy to send you the link for those reviews if you are interested.
Why they want to house sit
I love to travel and explore nature, local communities, and to get involved with in new places. At the same time, I am a homebody. I love to live with animals, cook, write and meditate at home - so petsitting is the best of both worlds!I like the exchange between pet owners and sitters - we are all people who love animals and love to travel. I like to give pet-parents peace of mind that their furry ones and home are safe and sound while they are away.
Their experience
Along with living with animals my whole life, I have been petsitting and housesitting over many years- I have a lot of experience and many skills with animals, plants and home care. I also volunteer doing rescue, foster care, and assisting in no kill shelters. I have worked in spay/neuter clinics in Mexico. I am certified in Pet Safety, First Aid and CPR. I love animals dearly and enjoy living with and spending time with them - I'm conscientious in caring for homes and plants, and reliable in communicating with owners.
What can they bring to the assignment
I am familiar with a big range of furry personalities; I know how to reassure rescues and timid pets, and how to rough and tumble with the playful :) I am good at at communicating, collaborating/problem solving long distance when needed, and sending updates. I like to give pet-parents peace of mind that their furry kids and home are safe and sound while they are away. I am also an amature photographer and enjoy taking pictures of the pets I live with - when they cooperate!- to share with you.

Best pet sitter ever
We were worries because it was our first time with a pet sitter, but Stefanie made it very easy. She knows what to ask about our Biela, her haits, and anything else useful. She took good care of Biela which has a strong character and isn't really social but she managed to be friend with her. She sent us pictures every three days as with agreed and let and keep our plant very green. Thank you very much and I wish you much more pet sitting as you love doing this and animals knows it.
