An Animal Lover Just Travelling Around Europe

About this sitter

I am currently travelling Europe and I am from Australia. I am looking to house-sit in cities that I am eager to explore and visit. I would absolutely love to live like a local, and although I love hostels, it would be amazing to experience something new and different. Even better if you have a few of your own pets, as I miss being around the chaos and the cuddles. I am pretty flexible depending on the location and month I can house sit either a few days or a couple of months.

Why they want to house sit

I absolutely love animals and would like to spend some time looking after them again.

Their experience

I have house sat multiple times. I have most recently looked after two energetic and high-maintenance labradors for around a month. I was required to walk them for at least one hour every day and feed them twice a day. I have also looked after a few different cats, 2 of my assignments required I medicate the cats. In addition, I am fortunate enough to have my own fur babies at home (2 dogs and 3 cats). All of whom I miss dearly.

What can they bring to the assignment

I would describe myself as a people and animal person. I am easygoing, flexible and considerate. I am a hard worker and will always prioritise your animals' well-being. I understand that pets often can feel very anxious/stressed when the owners leave (at least, I know mine do), so it's very important to me that they feel loved and well looked after.
