Hello. I'm Robert, 43, 184 in height but less in width. I'm a mouse jockey, website creator, IT supporter and travel a lot.

More and more idiocracy becomes reality and we already live in a Gaga society where you can't rely on anything or anyone. Social competence gets replaced by gut feelings instead of reasonable communication. Wokeness-nonsense, vaccination and global warming propaganda disturb everyone's lifes. In this environment, you need to count on your housesitter. I firmly believe that everything is a question of communication and agreement. I look forward to becoming your most trusted house sitter while you are on holidays, on a business or family trip.

ABOUT ME
I do IT consulting, remote support and have worked self-employed since 2012 on many IT projects at customer's sites such as Audi, BMW, VW, banks and insurance companies. I am a neat, very clean and absolutely reliable. I do not smoke and travel mostly by my old car. I have several life modes, so you understand what I do...

- IT projects: I work at customer's sites for weeks or months in Germany.
- Solo-traveller and remote worker: I travel while working remotely up to 25h/week.
- Work and travel: I travel and work at hosts for several weeks. They find me on HelpX.
- Housesitting with or without working remotely.

Some examples of what I can do for you:
- Housesitting (chickens, pigs, cats are okay)
- Walking dogs (no rescued dogs)
- Caring for your other loved animals
- Helping with work on farms
- Fixing everything technical in and around the house
- Maintenance of the garden
- Help with renovating, painting, decluttering
- Cut the lawn
- Keeping the house clean
- Mailbox emptying
- Bring out garbage

Depending on my (remote) work schedule (see above), I may also be able to help with...
- Decluttering, renovation, moving furniture, painting...
- Construction of garden beds, greenhouses etc
- Repairing computers and other devices
- Repair or maintain your car, together with an auto repair shop
- Keep track of maintainance cycles for cars

What I can NOT do:
- Work of an electrician that requires a license
- Carry more than 40 kg
- Drive trucks and tractors (sadly)

To raise trust, we can do one or several video calls before making an agreement. On arrival I'll happily share with you contacts of family and friends, a copy of my passport, my CV and work background and my criminal record certificate from Germany with zero entries.

What can they bring to the assignment

Communication
I am a big fan of good communication. That is why you can always keep contact with me by phone calls, Telegram, Threema or email. On request or as agreed I can also send pictures or do video calls to keep you updated about everything.

Contract
In case you want to make a written contract with me, I suggest we take the contract from MindMyHouse.

Length of a stay
I am available for one week up to six months. Please note that the shorter the time period and the further afar you are, the less attractive it becomes as I have travel expenses. However, you can always indicate that you will cover my travel costs (gas, car, overnight stays).
