About this sitter
Please do NOT consider our location as a disadvantage, we are financially viable and whether we are travelling for 1 hour or 2 days is not an issue for us. We have never been late, nor shall we ever let down our Housesitting Hosts. We are old fashioned enough to believe that it is important to honor our commitments.
Our permanent home is in Western Australia.
We are retired business owners. Gardener & Electrician. Nonsmokers.
Travelers, love to grow and cook our own food, readers, hikers...preferably with a pet or two.
To have access to transport is very important. Should you feel comfortable in loaning us your vehicle, we can assure you we will do our absolute best to look after and endeavor to return the vehicle in a better condition than what we found it.
We have an abundance of commonsense, practicality and respect for other people's property. We expect and will maintain a clean environment for ourselves and all the pets in our care. We do Not waste anything, not electricity, water or food. We have Solar at our house & we have not had to pay for any consumption since installed as we are mindful of the usage. Water, we have rainwater tanks & bore water for garden, our Evaporative Air conditioner tops up our swimming pool. We grow (from our own seeds) a reasonable amount of fruit & vegetables in our 1000 square meter property. As we do not waste at our home we are not going to waste at your home either.
We are fortunate to have a lovely Japanese couple looking after our house and pets (5 chickens, 1 cat and 1 Beehive). Our dog. See party hat photo passed away 2022. Whether we are home (rarely) or away we always have overseas students staying with us and minding the house. It has always been a fabulous arrangement.

BULGARIA - 8 weeks - (Koevski, very small rural village) from June to mid-August 2023, 3 dogs, 5 cats + setup a poly tunnel & planted out vegetables and herbs.
GREECE - 2 weeks - Trifolo, apartment in town. Cats August to September 2023
HUNGARY - 5 weeks _ (Csongrad, country town) October to November 2023, 2 boisterous dogs.
NEW ZEALAND -1 week - (Gibbston, rural property) July 2024. Large energetic dog.

We have been very complemented by the fact that we have been asked to come back to housesit by our previous hosts, but we would like to keep moving forward and experience new countries.
We do not Do parties, we cuddle, talk to, walk with animals, read, sew, cook, garden, smile and laugh often. We are experienced with most animals. Between the two of us we have had horses, ferret's, dogs, cats, goats, numerous chickens. Plus, of course we have had the good fortune to have been able to look after lots of pets either through house sit agencies or for family and friends.
We can supply email addresses for references when requested. We have Western Australian police clearance certificates available to email also. International driver's license' s each. We are both fit & healthy with no medical issues.

Love the randomness of worldwide house sits. Thoroughly enjoy meeting different pets, farm animals.
Checking out local villages, trying to learn the languages, hiking the countryside is a wonderful learning experience.

"Top-Notch Pet & Home Care: Exceeding All Expectations"
I recently had the pleasure of engaging Susan & Randall to take care of my home and beloved mature pets while I was away through Mind My House. With five cats and a shy dog, I was worried about leaving them, but Susan & Randall put all my concerns to rest as soon as we met on Whats App. My pets were exceptionally well cared for, with Sadie-Dog even getting two walks a day on some occasions. The house was spotless upon my return, and to top it off, Susan even left me some delicious meals in the freezer for which I was ever-so-grateful retuning with a cold after being up 29 hours. The driveway and backyard were meticulously shovelled, and they accepted parcels on my behalf. I received regular updates and adorable photos of my critters, which was incredibly reassuring. I never once worried about the kits or Sadie. They even went the extra mile by stripping their bed & throwing bedding in the washing machine before leaving and using clever tricks to reduce my heating and electricity bills. I couldn't have asked for more dedicated and thoughtful home/pet sitters. My 6 4-legged crew are all raw-fed so mealtime wasn’t ‘just throw some kibble in a bowl & leave it’. Food needed to be weighed and dishes washed every meal. This was my first time using this service, and I hadn't had sitters since 2009. I am very particular with the order and cleanliness of my home & had been prepared to do what was needed to return everything to 'normal'. But nothing needed to be done for which I was grateful especially since I was under the weather for about 10 days on my return. Susan & Randall have set the bar very high!!!!! Sie sind beide sehr umsichtig, freundlich, organisiert, unerschrocken, lösungsorientiert und liebevoll zu meinen Hunden gewesen. Sie haben sich um meine Bäume und Sträucher im Garten gekümmert, Rasen gemäht und meine Hochbeete befüllt. Sie haben sich viel Zeit für meine Hunde genommen. Velo fahrend und zu Fuss. Das Wort Problem gibt es für sie nicht. Es gibt doch immer Wege, um etwas anzugehen. Sie sind beide Allrounder. Ich kann sie guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.

Beautiful couple
Susan and her partner Randell were the most reliable sitters I found from day one. The communication was perfect and they constantly sent me updates on the my house and the cats.
