Experienced home-exchanger and -sitter with a heart for pets

About this sitter

I'm a fit 60+ teacher for spec. educational needs and love my job. I have taken a sabbatical this year, simply because I deserve it :) We, my husband and I always have had pets especially cats & dogs, but we also had rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and birds. We are still so sad because Barnaby our Basset Hound passed recently. He was more than special.
Luckily we still have Gustav, a Border Terrier who is a lovely chap!
I / We would love to walk and cuddle your pets and take good care of them, this is what they deserve.

Why they want to house sit

For years we used to swap our homes for the holidays, but since our dogs joined our happy bunch we have traveled with a caravan so they can come along.
Sometimes my husband has to work whilst I'm on my deserved break This is why sometimes I would pet-sit alone and a differnet time it would be both of us.

Their experience

Yes, we have taken care of the pets of people we swapped homes with and I did a three week house sit where I took care of a lovely greyhound and a cat in Delft (NL) a couple of years ago. We are fluent in English, German and Dutch
