I am a Dr. and As. Professor of Economics who resided in Ukraine until the outbreak of the war forced me to seek refuge. Canada became my safe haven, and I was fortunate enough to secure employment at the University of Victoria, and later at the University of British Columbia.

Yes, I am experienced in house-sitting. I have had the opportunity to care for two homes in Victoria and one home in Vancouver. In addition to house-sitting, I have also been responsible for looking after the dogs in two of these homes. The durations of my house-sitting experiences have varied, ranging from long-term stays of over a month to shorter stays of two weeks.
During my time as a house-sitter, I have developed strong bonds with the homeowners, and we have become good friends. I am grateful to receive repeated invitations to care for the homes of these wonderful individuals.
