Retired Energetic Lady

About this sitter

I am originally from Ireland but have lived all over the world, most recently in California. I worked as a Production Manager in the Commercial Film business in LA and NY for 15 years followed by 10 years in the Wine industry in Napa Valley. I am looking for availability from March 1st, 2024 onwards and can stay any length of time (minimum 1 month bookings).

Why they want to house sit

My son has graduated college and is now working so I recently retired. While retirement gives me a lot of free time, I find myself needing something to keep me busy. Looking at what is available online, I was drawn to house sitting because I have owned my own beautiful house in California and I also have had 2 fabulous dogs which have now passed on. I would love to get another dog but as I am still getting settled into retirement, I have put it on hold for now. I love getting out for walks and exploring the cities and countryside. I am very trustworthy and take excellent care of animals and homes.

I have owned my own animals and houses in California. I have also housesat for friends with animals when they took family vacations. Experience with Dogs, Cats, Birds, Reptiles, Lamb, Goat and interested in all animals.
