About this sitter

Good day! My name is Sylvia, I am 25 years old and a social worker. My brother Tobias, 23 years old, is an industrial management assistant. We are starting our one-year trip to Canada in September and can‘t wait to dive into that beautiful country. We are curious about meeting new, open-minded people who welcome us to their country and home.

Why they want to house sit

As we have had pets ourselves, we know how hard it is to leave them behind and still enjoy a vacation. So on the one hand, we want to give people the chance to not worry about their homes, as we take care of everything and everyone as it was our own. On the other hand, we want to get to know Canada from all its sides, and consider House Sitting as a great chance to get to know lifestyles, cities and people.

Their experience

We are not experienced in foreign house sitting, but have done it for friends and family indeed. We have watched two different little farms and their furry inhabitants (one with horses, donkeys, rabbits, goats, dogs and a cat, and one with horses, ducks and two cats) for several times, as well as friends‘ plants, dogs and cats.

What can they bring to the assignment

We bring zeal, a great sense of responsibility, consideration and orderliness. We are open-minded, joyful people and animal lovers of all kinds.
