We love to travel and love animals we would like a house sit near a village whithin walking distance. We are open to travelling anywhere as we are both newly retired.

Why they want to house sit

Just want to be a part of a community of local people rather than tourists. Therefore we get a real experience of what it is like living in another persons country

We have looked after a house in the Barossa for threee months for the last few years minding a large but gorgeous golden retriever!

I first met Anna when she was hard at work doing her sons garden in Tanunda in South Australia. She had come over from Victoria to look after her new grandson as her daughter in-law was very unwell.
We needed someone to mind our house as the house sitter cancelled on us at the last minute. I asked Anna and her husband Brad if they would like to mind our house and our golden retriever while we spent three months overseas.
They have now minded our house and dog for several months each winter for the last three years. The house is always spotless and the garden well cared for along with all my house plants. The dog always looks fabulous when we return. Anna and Brad are very fit and Jester, our dog is walked several times a day. Jester is so excited if he sees Anna anywhere nearby!!!! I cannot recommend both Anna and Brad highly enough. They are a lovely couple. I am happy to discuss further if you want more information
